Normally I reserve time spent writing reviews of establishments for posting good reviews. Sadly, that is not the case this time. Today I went into Lucky Star Consignment for the first time. Upon entering the shop I was immediately impressed by the lovely selection of womens clothing. However, I didnt have to time to explore this part of the store further because I had my three young children with me and today was about shopping for my school aged daughter. We were shopping for back to school clothing, and I hoped to stretch our dollar further by scoring some gently used items at an affordable price. Anyone who has been shopping with young children knows it can be a challenge to keep them occupied while searching the racks especially in a used clothing shop; in short time is of the essence. I had only perused one rack and gathered a handful of items to consider before my three year old called out, "Mommy, I need to go potty real bad". (sigh) Toddler in tow, I rushed to the clerk and asked if we could please use their restroom. (as he was chiming in, I need to go really bad) The clerk replied, "We dont have a restroom, but you can go next door to he pizza restaurant." Knowing what "Mommy, I need to go really bad means" in toddler talk, I tried to rush the other two out of the store and to the restaurant nearby. Then, upon entering found an employee and asked if we could please use their restroom. Which was no problem. During this time it occurred to me that Lucky Star Consignment most likely had a restroom, but opted to not share it with their patrons. I thought it was strange that I was referred to go to the restaurant down the strip mall where I wasnt a "customer". I decided to return to the store and ask the clerk if they did indeed have a restroom and chose to not allow us to use it. She said they did have a restroom, but she was instructed by her manager not to allow anyone to use it. I dont claim to know the reasoning for Lucky Star not allowing patrons to use their restroom, but if it is because they dont want to clean it after the use of their patrons it seems a little presumptuous to assume that Round Table Pizza wants to lend out their restroom for the use of their customers. In a world where customer service sets one store aside from another, and in the case of childrens clothing it is only a matter of saving a few dollars at a consignment store, I will choose to spend our families money at a store that is more accommodating.

Dropped off a dress and shoes back in the summer. I never received anything in response to my items. No call, no email, nothing. I dont live in Silverdale so I cant just stop in and check on my items. When I dropped off my things the girl seemed nice enough despite being obviously new at her job. Well here we are now in February, more than 6 months later and still nothing (I had given up a long time ago) and I try calling the store only to be ignored. It is 3:00 p.m. on a Friday afternoon, no matter how busy the store is someone should have been able to pick up the phone and at least put me on hold one of the five times I called. If youre going to ignore a phone, dont make it so obvious. When I searched for this place originally, there werent any negative reviews so I thought I had nothing to lose. Now that Im looking at this place again, its nothing but terrible reviews and I regret my decision. I am now convinced that they bought a bunch of clothes or brought in their own clothes to give off the illusion that they are a real business. If I wanted to just give these things away then I would have thrown them in the goodwill bag along with all of my other unwanted items. I am just appalled that this place is even in business still.

Dont ever bring your clothes here to consign. I went to pick up my clothes that didnt sell and you have to find them on the racks yourself. I found them all but three things. I asked for help to look for the bracelet jeans and top and was told by the manager she wasnt allowed to help look! No one else in store but she can help all you want if your in to purchase!! I looked again and no luck so she tells me to come back another day and bring a friend to help me look. ARE YOU kidding me. I was so annoyed and left. I came back three days later and looked again. Bracelet was NOT there so I wanted to know what they were going to do about missing items. Again she told me to come back another day and bring a friend to help me look for my items like I was incompetent. It was so darn ridiculous at that point I got upset and am going back to talk to the owner. All the other shops have your consigns in a bag waiting for you. The manager was rude and unprofessional. DO NOT TAKE YOUR CONSIGNS THERE IF YOU WANT THE NO SELLS BACK. There are lots better consignments out there willing to help...........

This buisiness is one of a kind around these parts, and I absolutely love going in. Very fashionable, very unique choices of clothes. Everyone has been very kind, and as you can see always responds to bad comments, and does something about it instead of just aknowledging if there is a problem. 10000% A+ customer service!!! I plan on shopping here much, much more frequently

The ladies at this store were full of friendly, genuine smiles! Absolutely had a fantastic experience here. I really liked how they have a program to provide awesome clothing to women and girls who have been sexually assaulted. Great place!
