This was my first time to Phinney Ridge Eye Care. I wanted to find an optometrist close to my house, so I googled "optometrist" and my zip code and I got a gigantic list of places. Who knew there were so many optometrists in the area? So I read through some of the reviews and decided to chance it with Phinney Ridge Eye Care and I was pleased to discover that all the reviews were right! Almost every review mentions the adjective "friendly" in its description and I would say that, that is the perfect word to describe them (both drs). They seemed like all around good people and they were very nice and friendly. My appointment was a little delayed but they were so nice that I didnt mind waiting a few minutes. The eye glass selection seems nice and fashionable, but not too trendy, if a bit on the small side. Dr. Rob seemed very knowledgeable and professional. I would recommend them to any of my friends and family.

This is a wonderful family-friendly total eye care shop. I have two shy kids, one who had tried another "Phinney area" eye care and they were cold and unfriendly. In contrast, this place is warm and both the doctors are very easy-going and make both my kids feel very comfortable. My one son has lazy droopy eyelids and it took him forever to learn to put contacts in. The doctors allowed him to take his time and when my son got frustrated that he would never learn they were only positive and encouraging. I wish every business was as wonderful with kids!!!

Highly recommend these eye doctors practice - the kind of service one used to get in the past when people took more time and care. For people looking for the best in eye care or who are afraid that their perscription might be incorrect these are the people to see. I have had eye problems my whole life and have seen lots of eye doctors - believe me I can tell the difference of someone who takes the time and has the expertise and experience. Great neighborhood, folks love these people too!

While they were very friendly, workmanship was questionable. Went in to get nose bridge replaced, which meant removing lenses from frames. Lenses got damaged in the process -- they replaced the lenses. Turned out they did not get the prescription quite right. They replaced the lenses again. Things still did not look right. I took them to my original optician, who found that the mounting points on the two lenses did not line up.

I cant say enough good things about Dr. Rosales. My step-mother is an optometrist and has given me many exams, always explaining what shes doing, why shes doing it, and what it means. Dr. Rosales is the same way, which greatly impresses me. Hes ready with an answer to any questions that come up and his manner is friendly and professional.

I have been seeing Dr Woo and Dr Rosales for years, even before they opened their own office, and have always had great eye care from them. They are a small, family run office with a fun, laid back atmosphere. And Dr Woo is very hip and in tune with the latest styles and stocks some great frames!
