Vyvyn is a dream. I simply adore this women! Sweet, caring, soft spoken - she reminds me of a tattooed Disney Princess. I had the most wonderful experience with her, and everyone who worked by her side was just as wonderful. I went in to get a cover up on my lower back. The original tattoo was done when I was 18 at a place on Capital Hill (I think you know whom I mean) The work was sloppy there, and the tattoo was VERY painful - the so called "tattoo artist" on Capital Hill went too deep into my skin causing scaring. I was scared to get anything done after that. Ive wanted a cover up for years now, so 7 years later I choose Vyvyn. Working downtown Seattle and also going to Olympus spa offend Ive seen so many beautiful pieces. Every single time Ive ask the women whom did her work I was told Vyvyn or Suzy, and Im talking about me asking 30 + different ladies. I got very excited and contacted Vyvyn for the tattoo. :) The cover up that Vyvyn did for me is roses, a red, highly detailed with leaves and thorns - they are just BREATH TAKING - the work in just beyond words, I cant thank her enough. The work she does is what a tattoo should be, done with skill, heart, soul, ... beautiful - TRUE ART. The tattoo should express you as a whole and make you feel beautiful, this tattoo does just that. Like I said, I cant thank her enough but THANK YOU VYVYN YOU ARE AMAZING! I hope that you can create more art for me in the future. <3

Incredible artists (both Madam Lazonga and Zaza). Very warm and welcoming atmosphere. I have over 50 hours of tattoo on my body from some very sought after artists and this shop is really outstanding, both for the caliber of work they are doing, as well as the atmosphere they have created. You will not find books full of flash at this shop, just two artists doing high caliber, original works of art for a very devoted and passionate clientele. My wife is starting a large backpiece with the Madam and the initial consult could not have been more professional, or more welcoming. I have a ton of ink but my wife is very new to the process and they made it very comfortable for her. Do expect to wait a bit, as is the case with every in-demand artist who is doing good work...you will have to be willing to wait a while before they can start working on your project. This is very normal. I just started a new project with another artist after an 8 month wait, so you should know that going in. For those that do not know: Madame Lazonga is one of the pioneers of tattoo on the west coast. She had her own shop here in Seattle in 1972, and was the first woman with her own shop in Seattle history. She is absolutely worth the wait.

This is my 4th tattoo, I wanted to get one en route from Korea in Germany and had some time in Seattle so I decided to read up on some local parlors and stop by, see what they had to offer. While there are some great artists that I talked to in Seattle, when I walked into Madame Lazongas and explained what I was looking to have done this was the first place that not only had great reviews but also an artist that was enthusiastic about my idea. Vera was my tattoo artist and she did an absolutely amazing job, this is my favorite and best tattoo I have had done so far. But even if Vera isnt your artist, throughout the day I overheard conversations as costumers came in about wanting to get new tattoos at Madame Lazongas after previous experience there. I feel that this shop and the artists it employs has a reputation for both being high quality and actually caring about the work they are putting in. Outstanding, would totally recommend.

After having a mastectomy and having my nipples removed I was very unhappy with my body. A mastectomy is not a boob job as some think. I looked for alternatives to the fake nipples that doctors try to create with poor results. That is when I came across Madame Lazonga Tattoo in Seattle. Vyvyn the owner specializes in mastectomy scars and tattoos. She was absolutely wonderful to work with. She really listened to what I wanted, and created the most beautiful tattoos I could have imagined for myself. Her shop is beautiful, it was nice and warm, which is important when you have no shirt on. She played amazing music, and we had such great conversations throughout the process. I was completely comfortable the entire time, in a very uncomfortable situation. If it hadnt been for cancer, I would never have had a tattoo. But am I so glad I did it. Vyvyn is truly an artist. His artistic talent and portfolio sold me on his ability to conceptualize my design ideas from a series of pictures I took while traveling overseas. He not only succeeded in doing this, but he surpassed my wildest expectations and created a true work of art. John understood my design ideas and was able to add his artistic touch and create a masterpiece. Hes easy to work with on design ideas and is dedicated to ensuring the whole tattoo experience is a positive one. I love my artwork from Madame Lazonga Tattoo, its truly a one of a kind. My fiance had begin work on a floral piece and I was immediately struck by Vyvyn Lazongas work. I showed her what I already had on my arm and explained what it was I wanted to continue on with. From my vague idea she proceeded to develop a beautiful and one of a kind piece what I absolutely love. I am very happy with my tattoo from Madame Lazonga Tattoo and dont anticipate going anywhere else for my work. Their workmanship absolutely stunning, the shop is clean and its in a great location
