Go to Tracy!!! Not only is he an exceptional artist, but he truly cares and listens to his clients. Far too often I have run into artists who make me feel rushed or pressured when drawing out a design, and it was such a breath of fresh air to meet Tracy. He was incredibly patient and spent a lot of time making sure the tattoo was exactly what I wanted, and it was easy to see that he truly cared that I loved my tattoo. And of course, his talent goes without saying -- he is an extremely gifted and creative artist. I recently moved and have been on the hunt for a new artist, and I have yet to find anyone of his same caliber. You are in good hands with Tracy!!!

They are awesome here! My friend and I wanted to get matching ones and we saw they had positive reviews on Yelp so we decided to go in and see, mind you I was incredibly nervous because I have never gotten a tattoo before. They were so nice and welcoming we showed Marc (who has been tattoo since 91) a few pictures of what we wanted and then he went and drew up a sketch and it was even better than what we had originally planned. Our tattoo was a pretty simple design and Marc just made it even better, he has a great eye for details. If I were to ever get a tattoo I would come here again without thinking twice.

Ive read some pretty negative reviews of the customer service here and I have to say I have had several great experiences here! Not only did I get two beautiful tattoos here, my artist really listened to me and put a lot of thought into my designs. All the guys here were super nice to me, and I witnessed one of them being exceedingly polite and patient with a client that could only be described as a total douche. I LOVE the old school style of this place and will never go anywhere else.

Ive got three tattoos from Curtis here, and two of my friends go to Leo and have a combined 7 tattoos from him. Always excellent work, welcoming, friendly, and clean environment. I got my first tattoo there and Curtis was very nice and was very informative. I then recommended my two best friends there, and they love it too. And when i moved to New York, Curtis gave me a list of people to look up there who he personally knew. Over all an excellent experience and well worth the price.

I had a unique physics equation tattoo I wanted wrapped around my leg, and the first artist I went to couldnt figure out how to make it work and gave up after an hour of trying. I went to Anchor Tattoo in Ballard and Jacob figured it out right away. After two hours of hard work on his part I had my tattoo. Im very happy with it. Thanks Jacob!

This shop is awesome! All of the guys there are great artists and really friendly. I gave Tracy Zumwalt some ideas and he came up with an amazing design for my tattoo. I get comments all the time about how great it looks. I would definitely recommend Anchor Tattoo!
