Its hit or miss here with the staff. Today was a miss. Big time. I came in with my dog (who is actually in training, yet I forgot her vest Oops and as been in before). As soon as we walked in this gal at the front counter very loudly said to me, "we only allow service animals. Sorry". First of all, Buffalo Exchange, get with the program. If Williams Sanoma allows dogs surely a sweater wearing dog on a short leash can come in with her owner, its not a restaurant. I was very embarrassed. Several people turned around and looked at me. I never get embarrassed. That isnt how you approach a person with a dog who may or may not be a service dog. Its rude.

It was crazy busy when I went in, but their incredible staff handled it like the warrior ladies they are. Despite being short-staffed, it was friendly, efficient, organized, and next steps were well-communicated. The wait was, well, what it was (there were a lot of people waiting to sell goods). Customers were patient and the staff smiled and thanked everyone. There were a lot of "regulars" who were greeted by name. The store itself is organized and clean. Id shop or sell at Buffalo Exchange Ballard again in a heartbeat.

The first time I went in to sell some of my clothes, they were really helpful and answered my questions truthfully. You have to remember that they determine what they buy and the value of the clothes by whats currently in demand and what sells in their store. The selection is determined by demand, so get familiar with the locations and their customers before selling your clothes.

Will never bring my clothes there to sell or look to buy from this store. Didnt buy anything, including a 200$ never worn blazer from BCBX with price tag still on it. Employees are also rude and condescending. Clothes that they are selling are out of style or overpriced. I have had much better luck getting better quality merchandise at the goodwill in SLU!

If youre looking to sell, dont waste your time. Ive been in a few times where they didnt take anything, but this last time, I went in with 3 giant trash bags full of beautiful clothes in excellent condition. Some, I had never even worn before and they didnt take a single thing and they barely even looked at anything. Huge waste of my time.

The prices are fine and the shop is cool. My main complaint is customer service. The employee who looked over my stuff went VERY slowly, and kept leaving me to go talk to other customers and employees. At least they were fair though, and the shop does look cool. Just awful customer service. Ill try selling at a different on next time.

Clean, good selection, organized...and kinda pricey. But thats just me. I found a lot of things I liked, I just didnt want to pay $35 for the same North Face fleece I just bought brand new somewhere else for $38. I rarely leave a consignment store empty-handed, but I did this one. But thats just me. Go in. Theres a lot to like.

I went here to sell some clothes because im moving over to Austin. They bought a handful of them, and now I have store credit for when I go to Austin since they have a store there too. Im glad I went here instead of good will first. Good deal.

Very friendly staff and a constantly changing selection. Buy and sell gently used trendy clothes. Prices are not bad and even outside of clothing you may find fun items. They had a few old lunchboxes and toys when I was there.

This place is awesome. I always find something lovely. This particular location is a bit cramped but running into racks is worth it for the awesome finds. The staff is super friendly and welcoming.

Lots of great products, clothes, shoes, and home goods to choose from. Picked up a nice desk lamp and camera bag last visit that were very good quality and good price.

Good selection, refreshed often, but pricing is not consistent. Above average fitting rooms and I highly suggest using the fitting room at any thrift.

This is my favourite location in Seattle. It seems a lot smaller than the one in the university district but the collection seems better.
