Sears new 30 day rental policy sometime in 2016 sears started to refuse a refund or store credit on any item past 30 day purchase date. I now just rent stuff from them I got a new power washer and used it every day for three weeks. Rather than waiting for it to break I returned it as should you with anything you buy there. If you purchase a mower or other lawn type motorized item you have to take it to the only sears authorized repair center in Enumclaw Washington and then go back there to pick it up when the work on it is completed A waste of a minimum of three hours in the northwest. Again use it 29 days and return. When you call for warranty work they still refer you to a location in Tacoma that closed two years ago. After having wasted your hour driving there they will then refer you to the federal way store where once you walk in with your broken item they then inform you of your need to drive additionally to Enumclaw to the real repair center.a total of about 5 hrs driving and you havent even gotten there yet. This is the same for all western Washington. I am someone who was a loyal sears shopper buying 4 to $5000 dollars worth of stuff there a year. First they pissed off most consumers now they crapped on the rest of us. you can hear the nails being pounded into the coffin lid. Walk into any sears and there are more sales people on the floor than customers. I gave you fair warning shop at a decent retailer. And now on the craftsman tool warranty ratchets in particular.... must get rebuilt they are no longer replaced d what a joke. My name is John and I hope I have saved you some time. If you dont believe me just look up some sears reviews there are thousands of new complaints everyday. Buy that hammer else where and help pound another nail in that lid

We purchased a new dishwasher and paid extra to have Sears install it and take away the old unit plus we purchased an extended warranty. We were told we would be contacted by the installation team to schedule our delivery by the next day. We waited several days and no one called us so I called the number for the delivery people and they told me their records showed the unit was to be picked up at the store. I called the store and talked to a sales associate who assured us she would take care of it, which she did. When the installation representative finally called back to schedule the delivery the date we were given was over two and a half weeks away. Sorry, that that is the best they can do they said. Now, today I was called and informed that they were sorry but the delivery had to be delayed yet another week. Had I gone to a competitor I am confident the unit would have been installed within the week. Several years ago a sales associate was very rude to me and I cut up my sears card intending to never shop at Sears again. Against my better judgement I decided to try again and bought a refrigerator. The experience was satisfactory, so we went back to buy the dishwasher. Big Mistake! Sears still needs to learn how to treat their customers with consideration and professionalism. Three and half weeks to make a delivery about 2 miles from the store simply doesnt cut it. My guess is that the warranty period begins at the time of sale rather than the time of delivery, but I have not verified it. Needless to say, our next scheduled purchase of a new chest type freezer will be made at a store where they know how to treat a customer.

I have to say I used to love Sears but what they have become recently is terrible. The staff is absolutely clueless about their products and informed us we couldnt order a product because it was back-ordered. I get that, no problem, however they sold us another model promising it was the exact same. We trusted them and found out it was absolutely not the same and was an inferior product. The return process was terrible. I got yelled at by their customer relations team who blamed me for their employees mistakes and it took an act of god to return the washer. Once we finally got the refund we found out they only partially refunded the purchase. I am now fighting the store and disputing all charges with my bank. I will never, ever use Sears again for any purchase. They have proven to be utterly despicable in their dealings. I cant believe I am saying this but Home Depot is 100x times easier to deal with. Goodbye Sears, you lost a long time faithful customer all over your own mistakes and the push to make a couple hundred bucks.

Incompetent, Overpriced, Dishonest, Inept. That probably sums it up. My wife went there to get some minor services peformed before winter hit. When she went in, the Sears workers tried to charge her with various fake charges such as "your vehicle has wheel locks and it will cost more to remove the wheels". She doesnt have wheel locks. Also, she asked the details of what "winter services" entailed. The workers told her "its to get it ready for winter", however they would not state what they actually did. This is ridiculous for the rate they are asking. Then, the service took 3 hours to perform, and then when my wife went to pick up the car, they said it would be another hour. When she asked to speak to a manager, the manager was conveniently absent. We will not be returning unless things change. Drastically.

I hate Sears in general, I dont hate the people. They said they had 4 left in stock of a treadmill and it was available for pick up today. Well yesterday (Saturday), I bought it so I could pick up Sunday to put the treadmill together before the work week. I specifically bought the treadmill here because it was the only one I could go get this weekend. Turns out it wasnt in stock even though the website it said it had four left. So I had to call a number and then another number. Then they said we had tried to call you yesterday but you didnt pick you. I have received no phone call, and I work at a place where I know that is an excuse to just not call the customer. Anyways I finally cancelled. Again, the people I interacted with were great but I HATE HATE HATE the company.

Worst service I have ever seen. Did not complete installation, broke the valve during installation for washer which I had to fix when they left. They do not carry gas to LP conversion kits in store for dryers. I have been waiting days for a small simple part to be delivered since no big box stores carry them and Sears customer service did not give me a tracking number for the part I had to order over the phone. I will never make another purchase from Sears again.

Excellent service in the appliance part of the store. Dale was knowledgeble and helped us select a fine washer and dryer. There was a big snafu when it came to the delivery part. But by calling the manager - Tony Richards, who completely stepped up to straighten out the problem, we had only a 2 day delay. Im sure when working with such a huge outfit as Sears, there are going to be glitches. But working with Tony to get them fixed was a breeze.
