I had the worst experience ever at this Target Store. Dont park your car on that parking lot! On 2014 September 1st, my rental car was robbed at Target parking lot and all my luggage was stolen. It was a traumatic experience mainly for my 4 years old daughter. That happened during my vacation period, so you can imagine the headache that caused to all my family. We lost all our clothes, camera and other personal stuff. What really disappointed/frustrated me was the Security Guard reaction. When I realize my car was robbed I ran toward him to communicate the incident. I was totally desperate and told him all our luggage was robbed and the answer was: - "F" Parking lot, right? It is happening lot over there... What do you mean??? If it was happening a lot and Target knew that, why didnt you reinforce the security at that place? That answer made me feel really stupid for being a Target client while my daughter and wife kept crying due the fact we were far from our home, with no friends nearby, with no phone and without all our stuff. That answer sounded like: "Ok, you lost everything but we dont care about you. It happens...". So I wrote to Target Guest Relations and they asked me some questions and stopped answering me. After sending a message to the CEO, Target answered me they can not do anything and suggested me to fill a Police Report. Again, if they know this is happening a lot, why dont you do anything to prevent this situation?

I was enthralled with this particular Targets Dollar Spot. Its set up vertically, not like the other Dollar Spots. It seems bigger because of the height, but the selection/size is probably the same as most other Targets. Every Target has its own personality and I love this one. It has two stories and an impressive clearance section (SF Giants t-shirts were marked 30% off). I was also impressed that this Target had bananas at the check-out stand. No other Target has had fresh fruit upon check-out. This Target also had some fun items in its Dollar Spot that no other Target in the Bay Area had (this particular week I visited five Targets looking for something in particular). I also had a friendly cashier.

I live down the street from this Target. I try to avoid this Target as much as possible. Pros: Its a Target. You can get things in one stop. Cons: Its Target. Security has followed me twice. I was followed around by security everywhere I went as if I was stealing. Lack of selection Long, slow lines Employees are constantly walking around in pairs or groups talking Out of stock Honestly, being followed around in a store TWICE now makes me uncomfortable whenever I am in there. I feel like I have to prove Im not stealing. Sorry, for not being white Target Secruity but, Im not trying to steal anything.

Frustrating! I called ahead to the mission St store and was told the air filter in question was there. It was not! I called ahead to another store, was told they have different brand of same style. When I arrived at the Geary Blvd they did not have it. After about 15-20mins, guest Services called the store room with the items #. They found 4. It took another 5 plus mins to bring to guest Services. It seems that you have a system, but the employees are not trained to use it well. Some just seems incompetent! I dont shop at Target if I can get things elsewhere. And you are easy to get to.

I have to admit, they bribed me with a few donuts. They had people passing out donuts in the morning by a select number of MUNI bus stops in the neighborhood the week of the grand opening, and I was more than happy to accept. Compared to the city target in SOMA, this one is is a little more sane. Theres also a free parking lot so thats already another star in my book. Dont come expecting to be able to find everything your heart desires because after all it is a City Target and not your normal suburban Target. Im just glad they turned this creepy building into something useful!

This review relates to the Starbuck on site. The manager was in line ahead of me. She delayed everyone in the line while she barked orders at the staff. She took forever. When I placed my order for a Trenta Shaken Iced Tea, Black, Unsweetened, it took a long time. Then I was told they were out of lids so the Barista went somewhere else to find lids. After about 10 minutes more of waiting, I was ready to leave when he finally came back. I left, late for work now, and drove off. When I sipped my tea, I found it had sweetener in it. I had to throw it out.

The best thing about this City Target: FREE PARKING! Gotta love it in a city that charges you an arm and a leg for owning and operating a car. Sadly Im not the only one appreciating this hence the parking lot is usually packed. Youll find everything here youd expect to find in a City Target, just like the one on Mission and 5th. Given the limited space in San Francisco they did a good job of cramping everything they could into this two-story building. Tired of FiDi traffic and dont want to drive to the subs? Check out this CT on Geary and Masonic.

One stop shopping! Say no more, target has it all. I love coming here because I can easily and quickly pick up everything that I need for the day, week or month. They offer quality food and now have come provide quite the large selection. Plus you can get clothes, appliances, stationary and much much more, all at an extremely reasonable price. Cut the hassle of driving all around the city to get your goods when you can get them all at target. Additionally, they offer a large parking lot so you never have to worry about not finding a spot!

Mostly the experience is pretty good but at least half the time, the cashiers get passive aggressive with me for not signing up for the red card or perhaps its Targets policy in SF to refuse to bag items for a customer? Its really hit or miss, half the time the cashiers are polite but the other half they offer an extravagance of annoyed air while you bag your items hurriedly because you havent left left yet. While you were paying they were busy rolling their eyes at customers in line waiting for your transaction to conclude.

This Target has an unusual (but cool) design - because it took over two previous stores in this shopping center, the store itself is two levels (and by extension, two parking lots). Electronics, food, media, and some clothes are on the second floor; the rest is on the first, including a coffee shop if you need a coffee break. The store is fairly organized and well maintained relative to other Targets Ive been to. It is a little smaller compared to others but nonetheless, I welcome another shopping option to the city.

CITY TARGET IS HERE! Compared to the City Target downtown this one way better. First, they have free parking, second they are close to my neck of the woods, and finally they carry fresh produce, meats and bakery items. Just like other city targets, they have limited supplies compared to the regular Targets. That being said they still carry lots of clothing, accessories, and home goods. It also has an on-site Starbucks and Pharmacy. Came here during their soft opening and the staff were super friendly and on point!
