At 6:30pm this evening during our shopping time at the Kmart on Burnside we were looking at bikes and I asked my well mannered 13 year old son to try and sit and carefully to check the comfort and go up the isle a bit DO NOT RIDE the bike. Upon my sons turn back to me we heard a really loud yell, Hey!!!!! It was a loud ugly yell, but we did not think nothing of it. I heard my son call me, and as I was going down the isle next to us a female was approaching him with great haste this caused me to be very anxious. As I came up behind this person she did not identify herself at all and I asked, did you just yell at my son," her reply nervously was, " well yes," he was riding the bike and there could be traffic in the isle, I replied I was here with him and I explained to him this very thing prior to sitting on the bike he was not riding the bike. She just walked away, later I found out it was Carmen the store manager. Carmen you need to learn how to approach your customers and not be yelling across to them, our experience shopping tonight upset our whole evening because you chose to yell instead of respectfully approaching us. You assumed my son was not being careful and that he was unsupervised you should of looked first to see his parents and siblings were right next to him. After I called you you failed to apologize until I insisted on it, you proudly and arrogantly stated your case. I felt judged, stereotyped, categorized by you. Your regional director will be hearing from us. Learn to manage your store first by how you approach your customers!!!! You may well have lost a loyal customer for the last 21 years. Way to go!!!!

I have always found a store to be as good and helpful as the customer they serve! In a hurry, come back when you are not, as they are keeping prices down to assist your budget and therefore, must keep employee numbers down, also. They do an awesome job training new clerks---have you ever been a new clerk at a store? I admire them giving so many young and more mature people, too, their first jobs in our area and their training program is amazing! Shelves bare--everyone is shopping for exactly what you are looking for also. The employees are always helpful to let me know when my product is expected to be back on the shelf or assist me in finding another product or store with it in stock! Nice customer repose always! The persons in charge are over-worked and extremely present to their workers and customers. I find each person in charge, for a shift, to be helpful and assists quickly. The employees are a great team, most competent and willing. Smile and they smile back--nice to experience in our busy lifestyle. Its November and I am thankful for our Kmart and its hard-working employees!

Worst place to shop. Shitty customer service, prices ring up wrong, slow checkers who clearly hate their job, and just a dirty store. I keep giving it a second chance but after this last visit, never again! I ordered my items online, went to pick up, and was greeted with super shitty attitude. No "Hi! How may I help you?", nothing but a sour look on the customer service and the cashier next to her. They really didnt say anything to me. Even when the guy brought up my items, he just stsrted walking out the door. I tried following him and another lady shouted at me that I was going out the wrong door. When the customer service lady said the guy went out that door and I was following him, the other lady said he had to because he couldnt get it out the other door. Both doors are the same size but yeah, dont apologize to me or even say have a good day. Then find a broken used needle right by our car. Will never shop here again. Im not the only one who hates this location either. Hope it gets shut down soon. Kmart has become a joke.

This place is the worst. The shelves are always bare. The parking lot is full of pot holes and you have to walk a gauntlet of employees out by the front door smoking when you visit. I go here on occasion because its walking distance from work. Id never actually drive out to this store. I went a month ago and bought electrical tape. I managed to snag the very last roll on the shelf. I went back in today a full month later for a second roll. They still havent stocked the shelf. No electrical tape in the whole store. There are bare spots all over the place in this store. When I go in there seems to be nobody else in the store shopping but it never fails that when I get up to the checkout there is only one register open and it has a line. Every time. This store is a blight on the city of Gresham.

worst location i have EVER been too! i will never go hear again! i cant tell you how long i stood in line just to buy some ginger ale there customer serive is horrible they dont care about there customers. the lady in front of me was trying to buy a halloween item that said 50 % off, she had proof of the tag for the item and everything and they were arguing it was not correct when it clearly was, customer service is so much more then a smile, if a price is marked wrong and its your fault you just honer the price. thats it pretty simple. i do not recommend this place at all.

I been to Gresham store I really liked low prices for toys. When I came to customer service got questions answered in profession manare. While I was looking for something at the toys department the young lady/associate helped me as well. At the cashier time I like the greeting and how customers where treated! Not sure why people are complain about the service . We as customers need to be more friendly . Keep up good job K Mart at Gresham !

People keep complaining about slow service etc. They cut down on employees to give the deals. You cant have incredibly cheap products and a lot of employees. Think people, a good deal comes with a cost and if waiting for over worked employees is my biggest problem, Ill deal. Otherwise go elsewhere, because this customer does not appreciate entitled customers complaining the whole time when buying their 3.99 designer clothes.

Can somebody tell they unprofessional security employees that they are not invisible? They arent super spyes and not everyone who doesnt look formal is a thief or a criminal.If Im waiting in line at checkouts,why make me walk back to the computer side or cosmetic register? Whoever was the manager is also so rude and thinks they are superior.Very unprofessional bunch of people.Thats why the Kmart stores are closing.

They had 3 out of the 5 things I was looking for, so 3 stars seems appropriate. Theres nothing exactly -wrong- with the store, it simply seems to be missing all the stuff that makes other stores -Right-. It feels dingy, but I dont think it was dirty. It feels outdated, but they have new stock. I dont know what it is, but I never quite feel comfortable shopping here for long.
