In 1995, I went to Sears San Bruno, California store, where we had a tradtion, of buying all our familys major appliances, & bought the 1st TV we had purchased, in 20 years. It was for my elderly father. It would not fit in our small car, but the price included free delivery it in a few days, so we paid it in full, on our credit card, & waited. When the delivery day came, my elderly father waited all day long, dressed, sitting in the kichen, ready to greet them. Instead,..nothing happened/they didnt show up, & they didnt call us, either. When I called them late that day, they said there was no delivery on there schedule for us,..& when I spk w the TV department,...they told me that they (somehow) had sold the TV we purchased, to someone else, & there were no more, as they were out of stock. (they never did explain HOW they could sell a TV, that was already in the box, & already paid for, to an entirely new & other customer!). When I told the manager, whose name was Michael, about it, he mocked me, laughed in my face. We had to wait 3 weeks to get another one (& months later, when it was too late to return, I noticed the picture tube had had a defect in it all along, We never bought anything more, ever, at Sears, since that incident.

I HAVE HAD THE WORST EXPERIENCE IMAGINABLE WITH SEARS. WE HAVE PURCHASED MANY LARGE APPLIANCES AND THE DAY BEFORE THANKSGIVING OUR KENMORE REFRIGERATOR WENT OUT (IT WAS ONLY 6 YEARS OLD). WE CALLED THE SERVICE DEPARTMENT TO TRY AND GET EMERGENCY SERVICE AND THEY BASICALLY REFUSED TO COME OUT. SO WE WENT TO PURCHASE A NEW REFRIGERATOR THEY SENT A DELIVERY PERSON WHO WAS LAZY AND TOLD THEM THAT THE SHUT OFF VALVE WAS BEHIND THE REFRIGERATOR AND I TOLD HIM IT WAS UNDER THE SINK WHICH IT IS. TO MAKE A LONG STORY SHORT WE HAVE BEEN WITHOUT A REFRIGERATOR FOR A WEEK. I AM CANCELLING THIS ORDER TOMORROW AND I AM NEVER BUYING ANYTHING FROM SEARS AGAIN. WORK TO THE WISE DO NOT PURCHASE ANY SERVICE CONTRACTS OR LARGE APPLIANCES FROM SEARS THEY ARE A TOTAL RIP OFF AND AFTER 25 YEARS WITH THEM THEY HAVE TREATED US LIKE DIRT.

Called over 15 times. No answer. Was trying to help my 80 year old mom who had spent about $1900 on appliances. Very sad service on the delivery and install end. Very sad service on calling for over 4 hrs and not getting through to sales or even other department such as HR and Loss Prevention. I did speak to delivery and install call center and boy that was crazy interesting with no way to receive some costumer service. All one line corporate answers which dont work for elderly clients. They tried to buy my sanity with a $50 Gift card, I asked " how will that fix the problem?" She said it would not but you can use the gift card at any Sears. No thanks. ... I remember another corporate giant Woolworth. .. RIP..

Auto service sucks so bad i waited in line for over an hour just to be seen at the counter I went to get brakes done at 2pm and didnt leave until 10:pm I had my screaming 11 month old with me I needed to buy extra milk and baby food for him because it took so long and when I would ask how much longer it would be they just said they would check and never came back when they brought my keys I asked what time they started on my brakes they said 6:00 never agin dont waste your time going there Sincerely Irritated Customers

I was trying to look at the rings and the woman didnt let me try them on . I asked various times if I can try on the ring and she kept putting it back in the show case. I have worked for jewelry companies that are far more expensive than sears jewelry, and I just could not believe how rude this was. As a customer I felt so offended by this because when I am looking at jewelry I expect to try it on. She kept guiding me to the cheapest jewelry and I was very confused . Worst customer service I have had .

whoaaaa... this place is still in business?? they had what looked like a good deal on a service package for all my appliances so I fell for it. Now its 3 months later and they still have not repaired my stove. I have no idea how they are still in business. they should just go under and be done with it. Ive no idea why people want to save american businesses that are this bad.

Criminal organization. I am going to be happy when they bancrot. Do not buy mattress from here. They will deliver crap and refuse to refund you once you complain. And that is whitin their " trial period". Im 41 and this is by far worse purchase and customer support in my life. I will never buy from them again and i am in the market for some apliances. Best Buy here I come

They are rude, and dificult to work with. the mechanic was hot rodding my car during a test drive, even though I asked them NOT TO TEST DRIVE. I came in for routine brake work on my 07 Infinity, and the people at this shop insisted it was required by LAW for the mechanic to test drive, against my wishes. DONT GO TO SEARS FOR AUTO WORK - THEY SUCK!

Typical sunday at a mall store, long lines, after buying some pillows the cashier kind of pushed towards me and I look at her and she said sarcastically: yes? Do i get a bag to carry those? Oh no we dont have any, you will have to go to a different department and ask for one.ok so therr I go carrying my bunch of pillows to my car.

I really like sears. However they are always moving things around. It becomes so difficult to find what you want. I understand its their store but it will become confusing to a customer who shops there a lot. Overall i would say the employees are friendly and their items are very decent.

Warning - do not shop here! Customer service was awful, delivery was never even scheduled, NONE of the departments answered the phone and the staff seem powerless to help. Im taking my business to Amazon!
