Special shout out to HEWLITT!!! We had a family emergency and he accommodated us and made things simple, no special treatment, just some awesome consideration to ease our dilemma. Thank you HEWLITT. The isles are wide and well stocked. Some items offer limited options. There are numerous staff and vendors doing demonstrations and offering samples. The Kirkland tuna fish cant be beat. Food allergies in the family requires looking at ingredients in all foods. Kirkland tuna has Water and tuna ( no soy added). Lots of products you dont find easily elsewhere. Prepared dinners and food that just need heated cant be beat. Meats, poultry and fish always look good. Best prices on diapers in bulk. Durable well know products at awesome prices. Special sales can be incredible. Lines can get ridiculously long, but come on, if you go on a Saturday morning for something quick, YOUR JUST BEING STUPID. Dont go at the busiest time and then complain. Ya wanna see stupid go into Walmart after 11pm when only one cashier is working the whole store and there are twenty morons like me standing in line for an hour. The deli area has great prices, but, the volume of business they are doing requires a little more thought. How about one line of the three available just for hotdog and sausage orders. Allowing a smooth but continuous flow of hungry people. Folks with different needs would have a separate line where staff could be more attentive. A quoisk where you could pre order would be perfect as the selection of items is super simple and limited. You could pay there freeing up staff to help cook and serve. DONT show up at the last minute trying to buy sevral large pizzas, plan ahead, dont get mad at staff. Compliments to the staff as they deal with us the happy hungry public. There are some awesome coupons available on the Costco app. Check before you go shopping. The app could be updated it is very limited. Costco also offers all kinds of insurance and financial stuff, trip planning , rental cars.... There is a lot more. Do some investigating. Walk in the front door like everyone else, dont bring a fussy child with you and get mad at staff because you are not special. Please dont go in the exit door. What kind of person does this. Then complains. If you let one person do it, you have to let everyone do it. Stop being difficult and follow the rules rather than wasting someones time asking for special treatment. The extra 30 second walk will be healthier for you. Its because of people like you that they have to put a staff member at the door to redirect you to the proper entrance. Whats next parking in a handicap stall with out a permit??? Exit means EXIT!!!!

I always go to this Costco because I enjoy waiting in 15 minute lines after Ive worked a 10 hour day. Costco is usually the perfect retailer, but this is the most poorly managed Costco in their entire company. They are consistently understaffed, consistently busier than Walmart at 4AM on Black Friday, and the experience is just straight up inconsistent. Employees are either extremely polite or straight up mad at life without any middle. If the checkout lines are busy, management is busy closing lines to save a dollar. You can go here 15 minutes after they open on a Saturday and the place is a chaotic zoo. Save yourself the stressful experience of this poorly managed Costco and go to the Tacoma Costco instead.

Great selection of items but unfortunately the employees are definitely on the rude side. We have a household membership and they were trying to refuse cash from my significant other that lives in the same household because it wasnt my cash from my pocket- they told my SO that the best way to go about fixing this problem is him getting his own membership. How absolutely absurd! I pay for our membership and he was purchasing our food with cash. Last time we came here it took about a half hour to check out. This location would be 5 stars if it werent for the constant rudeness from employees- if I wanted rude employees Id go to Walmart, please adjust the employees attitudes.

Update 8-2-16: Not European car friendly! Came in to get a battery for an audi which Costco no longer carries. Tried to get a set of OEM tires installed on my Audi S4 and they wouldnt do it (OEM 19" wheels) Honestly the tire center is a joke. Easily the worst experience I have had at a Costco. I had a tire machine for 5 years but recently sold it. Low profile tires are no big deal for modern tire machines. If they have an issue with it they need to re-evaluate the employees they have working in their tire center or just get rid of it all together. Puts a black eye on an otherwise great place. Great prices, great service, great hot dogs! Its Costco. Always excellent!

Let me start off by saying I love costco! That said I really wish they would open another store in like frederickson or spanaway because this location serves to big of an area as the closest costco to most of puyallup/spanaway/ Frederickson/graham and Im sure other locations, and so because of that fact they are always super busy. I wont even go Friday-mon because its always crazy packed. Also it seems that a lot of the time they stop carrying items that are actually selling really well but I guess thats up to costco just makes since that if something was selling well youd keep it around.

Every year I look foeward to the KIOLBASA beef sausage. By far my favorite is the roasted garlic, followed by the cheese sausage. Then there is the Organic, which doesnt have any appealexcept that it is ORGANIC. It just plain doesnt taste good. This year, somehow, someone decided that only the organic would be available. I noticed that it isnt moving very well - probably due to the same reaction I have, plus the fact that it sells for double the price of the not-so-organic-but really tasty sausages. Organic and inferior taste isnt moving off the shelf. Take a hint, Costco.

Its your typical Costco. Lots and lots of parking, if you dont mind parking way out on the perimeter because you arent going to find anything close unless you wait. Long line to get in, super crowded inside, longer lines to pay and get out. However, this food court is kind of meh. They always run out of condiments, and their soda machine is filthy and tastes nasty. Maybe they just dont change the filters for the water as regularly as they should. There are a lot less tables here than at other Costcos, but this is the first one Ive seen with picnic tables out front near the doors.

Things are arranged nicely for best viewing and comparing, but try to find anybody that can or will assist you with such mundam details as differences in similar products, dont hold your breath. Nary an associate to be seen or heard unless they are stocking. Otherwise, since Costco customers are above the average bear, we seem to not need a whole lot of aid. And, of course, we know bargains and savings so no big deal, and I found what exactly we needed

Everytime I buy fresh fruit or vegetables here I get a couple rotted ones in the bunch. I guess quality control is hard when youre dealing with such large volumes of food. I also dont like the large crowds that shop here, I guess I need to experiment with certain days of the week and hours. Anyway, the bottom line is, I want to love this store, but still like Trader Joes better.
