UPDATE: I would like to update. After sometime of trying to get this issue resolved, they have put a woman named Chyenne newly in the position that takes care of these matters. After one call too her she has taken care of everything for us and then some! She was absolutely wonderful! We ordered a sofa set and paid plenty extra to have it customized in color, fabric etc. and ordered a rug around Feb 22nd. My sofas were delivered after I called and asked what the hold up was where I was told they were waiting on the rug. I feel that if my sofas had been there and they were simply waiting or a rug, I should have been contacted and been given the choice on whether I wanted to wait on a rug for delivery of my sofas or not. I had my sofas over. Thank God because it is now May 16th and my rug is still not in. When my sofas arrived, the cushions didnt match in color...different colors! Does this company not look at their items to be delivered before delivering them?!?! I called and complained and I was called back with them saying theyd call the manufacturer. Days and days passed with no word until I emailed them about how unhappy I was with the whole situation. I was emailed with the solution of ordering different cusions from different dye lots and then swapping out as needed. This was weeks ago and still no word. I was really excited about supporting a more mom and pop store and I am completely disappointed in them. I need end tables and a coffee table and I will go any where but here to get them. The quality is not well on the sofas either, another disappointed. Poor customer service, poor speed, poor communication. Save your money, this was not the cheapest place by any means yet I feel the quality seems to be. Once you hand them your money, you are no longer a priority customer.

Worst policy for returns that I have ever heard of in my life. My mom bought a couch and two chairs from this store. She ordered them in December 2015, they arrived in mid February 2016, they are the most uncomfortable pieces of garbage that any of us have ever sat in. When she complained to the manager she was informed that Washington state law wont allow custom made furniture to be returned and offered her a discount on anything else that she might want. In my opinion the couch and two chairs should go to the dump with a big warning sign to everyone to avoid shopping at Hawks Prairie Furnishings. The couch is too short or the seat itself is not large enough, I am not sure. The two recliner rocking chairs are a different size, we measured them and one is smaller than the other by at least 1 1/2 inches in the seat area which means that my hips dont fit inside of the one and are very cramped in the other. My mom is 80 years old and shouldnt have been allowed to make this purchase. Nearly $3,000 for a couch and two chairs that are very uncomfortable. The chairs give her charley horses in both legs and we have had no less than six people of various sizes sit on the couch and not one found it even reasonably comfortable. They even sent a representative out to the house and he tried to adjust the chairs and the couch but was unable to modify it enough to be comfortable. Go anywhere else to buy your furniture and avoid this place, at least most normal businesses would have made sure that we were happy with this expensive purchase.

We have purchased on 3 different occasions from Hawks Prairie Home Furnishings, and we have always been satisfied with the quality and service. We recently ordered a custom sofa, and it was delivered today. Our sales associate for our recent purchase was Michael Nacht, and he did an excellent job of meeting our needs. We had previously talked with another associate and had gone online to the manufacturers website and researched what we wanted to order. When we went into the store to get fabric samples to compare at home, Mike was the associate we dealt with. The model of sofa we wanted was not in the store, and we expressed the difficulty of making a major decision without being able to sit on the sofa itself. Mike took it upon himself to go into his computer system and found 3 sofas in the showroom that we could sit on in order to compare different features of the sofa we wanted (i.e., arm height, seat height and depth, and construction of the back). This was very helpful for us determining that what we had seen online was indeed what we wanted to order. After ordering the sofa, there was some confusion about the fabric due to changes in the backorder date for the fabric we had chosen. Mike and the store went to bat for us with the manufacturer, and we got the new fabric we had chosen. The sofa was completed within 3½ weeks instead of 5-7 weeks, and we love it!

Theres bad and then there is hawks prairie furniture! Absolutely the most ridiculous customer service I have ever dealt with. My wife and I spent almost $2800 on a couch and love seat set with an extended warranty. We were quoted 6-8 weeks for arrival of the furniture, it took almost 10, and within 6 months of receiving the furniture both couches were completely falling apart. We started sending emails and pictures to their customer service in early November of last year, they didnt come to pick up the first couch for repair until January 18th! That took more than 2 months to get back. They didnt properly fix the problem (even though we had the delivery guys take pictures and notes of exactly what needed to be fixed) and it fell apart again while the second couch was back getting repaired at the manufacturer. So now I am 9 months from first complaint and still dont have both couches in my living room. The one that is here is falling apart and unusable now too so I have a living room that has no usable furniture. Lori the service manager never returns phone calls. I want my money back at this point. Not going to go without my expensive couches back and forth while one is always being repaired. Nightmare of a customer service experience

Update... so I am still trying tk get my furniture fixed. I have been dealing with these people and the company they use for the "protection plan" since October. My furniture was approved for repair they even sent someone out to do the repair. He needed to order parts so was unable to do the repair at the time. Now they are telling me that they will not cover the repair and Im out of luck!!!!! DO NOT GO TO THIS STORE!!!! If you choose to purchase there furniture you might as well throw your money out the window while driving down the high way at least you will get a laugh out of watching everyones face while money flies by. DO NOT BUY THE PROTECTION PLAN.... I was tricked into buying it and my 1500 love seat is damaged and they will NOT fix it. Saying its not covered. They will LIE and tell you it will cover everything and it does not. Im very disappointed with them as a company for taking our hard earned money for there crappy furniture.
