If you WANT billing and insurance issues, come here! They made it sound like they knew what they were doing with my primary and secondary insurance, and a year later im being billed more money for glasses from not my previous pair of glasses but the time prior to my last pair! Sounds like a scam... last 3 times ive been in there for my appt., picking out frames, and picking them up, nobody mentioned i owe them more money. I even paid out of pocket what i owe when i was in last time. Now i am being threatened to go to collections over $80.00. When they didnt even call me once about this. She said i tried billing you, and i said yea i recieved the bill and left 3 voicemails 3-4 months ago! And nobody picked up or returned my call until randomly today. My first bill even said i was past due 3+ months when i recieved it so why hasnt anybody called before my past due bill sent? My phone number never changed. They are so disorganized. my one star review means ZERO STARS! THEY NEED BETTER ORGANIZATION. I dont know how they randomly say im late and being threatened to send to collections. Sounds FRADULENT on their part!

Dr Lum very nice and does good job, but his staff (a caucasian lady) is very very rude. I stopped by to pick up contact lenes and my return money which i paid for the contact lenes I ordered before but i need to exchange another kind because it not fit. She didnt know how i paid for it, cash or credit card. I told her it was cash; she told me " u have to come back tomorrow cuz she has to find out how i paid for it" I told her i dont have time tomorrow; u can put to my card if u want. She said, u told me cash now u said credit card... She made me feel like im a liar... My point is i dont care how she return my money.... I just dont want to come back tomorrow... She didnt want to listen, she just focus back to her computer and ignore me... Before i walked out, I asked her... So u said tomorrow it will ready right? She replied to me, "but u said u dont have time tomorrow?" What kind of attitude is that?? I dont have time, but i still need to get my money back right? Anyways...never seen this kind of customers service before....i have been a patient for >6 yrs... Im sure i have to find another place for my eye.

The dr seems nice enough however he has the most incompetent staff working for him. Not only did they fail to bill our insurance 2 years ago for contacts all together, but now they are choosing what to bill and what not to and have us pay. we ordered contacts 3 months ago and I was never called when they came in. fast forward to today and I finally got them and had to update my number for the 10th time with them. I was instructed I would have to call the insurance company because they couldnt figure out how to get our benefits. Once I called the insurance I was told that what they had me pay for was never even billed to our insurance and not only that but they had been paid for 3 boxes of contacts almost 3 months ago. So they billed and were paid for them but never bothered to call us. we will be transferring offices and will make sure let our insurance, who they are currently in network with, know about their billing practices

dr lum. does a great job but his staff not so great. the asian women that works theres a bit stuffy and has a attitude. ( small one ) and marcelles is a liar he told me my dauhters glasses would take a week too a week and a half. two weeks ago...... now he tells me because of my insurance that it will take eight too ten weeks and thats with a rush on them because she is unable too see out her left eye with out glasses. if marcellous had told me that i would have went eleswhere and paid cash for glasses now for her.....NOT HAPPY>>>>>>>>>>>!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! and the three of us will now go somewhere else ......sorry. dr lum... your ok your staff not so much... we,ll come back when your staff changes.p.s. we have been customers for six years.....

Ordered my glasses, waited over a month, then called and they said my order never went through cause of error from thier side by thier employee. Placed ordered again, waited another month, then finally got my glasses. Very bad customer service with confused staff. but good doctor thats why I am giving 2 stars. I think its time for doctor to change his staff or hes gonna continue to lose business.

My wife and I both had our eyes checked today by Dr. Lum for the first time and hes very good, friendly and tells you a lot of interesting things about the how the eyes work with the brain. We both had a great experience! The staff was very friendly and helpful. We will be back for our next eye examination in two years!

Dr. Lum is great!! I really like this optometrist, and usually I detest having to come back, but its not so bad with Dr. Lum and his staff!
