New Patient

The office is nice, the doctor is smart and was very friendly. BUT the assistants, they did not seem trained and as a health care professional you should not have acrylic nails on. The assistant who did the contact len try on with me had acrylic nails. Everyone knows bacteria, nail polish and dirt get traps underneath the acrylic nails and she was trying to teach me how to put the contacts on with her nasty fake nails...not a good impression for a new patient. I would give it zero stars but I gave it one the doctor was excellent his staff on the other hand no!

I have been Dr. Jims patient since 1991 and trust him and his staff implicitly. Besides routine vision care, Dr. J caught cataracts I. Both eyes s d coordinated the easy and pain free surgery to remove them s d replace the lenses with appropriate implants. He did the same when scar tissue formed in each eye and he coordinated two successful YAG laser procedures. Dr. Simmons gets 5 stars from me!!!

Ive been a patient of Dr Simmons for over a decade - best optometrist ever, and the staff go out of their way to accommodate. I couldnt make it Saturday to pick up my contacts, and since I called 1st thing at 9 am.. Julie was able to mail my contacts and get them to me in record time!! SO grateful. Wouldnt go anywhere else.

Dr. Simmons is the best eye doctor around. Ive been seeing him for over 25 (!!) years. Hes super laid back, very professional, and always on top of the latest in his field. He treats my kids and me like we are his only clients. The office staff are always top notch, and very friendly.
