I recently purchased a 2005 Park Avenue from Best Auto. I test drove the car, asked if there were any issues with the car. Salesman said the car was great and it ran great. No transmission issues he says.After having the car for 4 days I noticed that the transmission would hard shift into 1st and 3rd gears. It will jump into gear. I now will have to get a rebuilt or remanufactured transmission. I am deeply disappointed with my purchase whereas I am gonna have to spend a lot more money to fix this issue. I also noticed that the shocks and struts have to be changed. I feel like the salesman lied to me and was not forthcoming with the condition of this Park Avenue. I definitely would not suggest anyone buy a car from this dealership. They will smile in your face and tell ya that everything is fine with a car you may want to purchase but really it isnt. Dont trust anything you hear from these guys. Most likely what you hear will be false and untrue. To sum things up I can only say "Buyer Beware". Take your hard earned money elsewhere. It would be a waste of your time and money to trust these guys and buy a car at this dealership.

Good used car experience. We bought a low-mileage Land Rover Discovery II with no hassle for a great price. The salesman gave us lots of time to test drive, never pressured us a bit, and answered all of our questions candidly. He also knew a fair amount about Land Rover quirks (costs/maintenance). This is my fourth Land Rover and I do the maintenance myself, so I knew what to look for and be wary of. I watched the salesman actually steer another customer AWAY from another Rover they had because it didnt seem like it would have been an appropriate fit for someone not used to this type of machine. He could have sold it to the guy, but did the right thing and suggested other cheaper alternatives. Impressive. They have a large selection of nice boats, too, so if Im ever in the market for one, Ill check these guys out because of my good experience with the vehicle purchase.

Recently bought a 2008 ford crown vic police interceptor with 88k miles for $3800. Test drove fine, clean straight body (detectives car), and plenty of power. We picked it up next day to drive to our son in Bellingham. Got as far as Mt Vermon where we stopped for gas. As soon as we started to pull away the transmission started to slip. Two weeks later our son calls to say he cant pull out of the driveway. Now were faced with either a partial rebuild for $2k (bandaid) or possibly a total transmission overhaul for $3k. I always tell people never buy from a dirt lot.. Broke my own rule and paying the price.

This place is perfect example of why no one wants to deal with used car sales personnel. I came here wanting to buy a vehicle that was advertised for a certain price and a few hours later I showed up and tried to sell me the same exact vehicle for 1k more because they had a few interested parties. Bait and switch is the term. If you like dealing with sleazy scumbag salesmen then this would be the right place.

not honest people, We bought a vehicle from Best Auto Recover, they replaced a O2 sensor in it, and we went down to his shop (whos the owners friend) on a test drive and asked about the car and reverse popping out of gear, he said it was fine and that it is a chevy so you have to shift a little harder. Owner said the same thing. We bought it. Not even 2 weeks later we need a new tranny, clutch, and shifter.
