My first time in this store, let me lay this one out for you.. Im walking around and grabbing the things I came in here to get, spent about 20 to 25 minutes looking, walking around, looked up and down by staff and other customers. Then I head to the front and proceed to check out. Now in Safeway or other stores, one might want to get into line with the lowest amount of people in it. ie. Little to no wait time is nice. However, here I was told move down to next line, so I do. (thinking how odd) in that line Im told again move down, next line. SO AGAIN I DO. Finally getting to the head of the checkout line.(25 to 30 min.) The second cashier looks at my cashier, looks me up and down again and says something in her home language, my cashier looks at me and proceeds to laugh with her. Seems Im not Asian enough to shop here. If my credit card hadnt already been processing, I would have just left it all on the counter, and walked out. Avoid this place like the plague.

I really feel disappointed because today March 26, 2017 I bought 4 crabs $40. I told the guys to get for me the big one. He did not let me see the crabs at all while he took them from the pond. They cleaned for me and I brought it home. When I washed them, the crabs missed their legs more than I thought. He got for me all the bad one, the meat is really soft and it seems like melting when I clean them. Waste money to buy carbs from this store. It was also my fault when I did not check him carefully ( because I saw them busy, dont want to bother him too much, but he is not truly person, I should not believe in that guys.) I think I dont buy crab from this store anymore.

A couple issues, if you can call it that, is that the store isnt the cleanest in the world. In addition to this, sometimes the employees can seem unfriendly though there are definitely exceptions. On the other hand, they have lots of different vegetables and Asian foods like snacks, frozen foods, canned foods, etc. The bakery has a great selection of pastries/baked goods and also has a buy one get one free discount in the evening.

I moved from California, at first happy to see there is a Ranch 99 market. But it is very disappointing. I bought some beef and found it had some bad smell when I was home half hour later. The vege there are not fresh at all and very dirty. Their price is a little bit low than QFC but the quality is really lot less. There are so many things I cannot find in this market, I really doubt if I should go there again.

My parents always came to this Ranch 99 to get groceries every weekend. I didnt realize how affordable and thrifty the prices are here until I went off to college and had to get my groceries from expensive Safeway. The bakery here is good, too! I like the coffee cake, the walnut cake, and the hot dog buns from there. YUM! I also got figs here once. Figs are such delicious summer fruit!

Great deals on packaged ramen. I love the prices.Only negative is the crappy paper bags with no handles that is supplied. I know that Seattle is trying hard to use less plastic bags for the environment. I respect that, but when you spend $130 bucks worth of groceries. Those paper bags end up tearing. So plan ahead and make sure to bring your own shopping bags when shopping there =]]

Parking isnt an issue if you go before noon. The first thing I noticed when I walked in was the sweet aroma of fresh fruit. Great prices for produce too. They carry a little more organic items now compared to 3 years ago. As for the employees I didnt require help but the cashier was smiling and polite. Just make sure you read food labels if you have allergies or dont want cancer O_o.

Its a huge grocery store with tons of selection and unique Asian ingredients. Produce is a good price but not the best quality. Their cafe has a good food to stop in and eat before or after shopping, really good BBQ pork and duck, usually the food isnt that warm. For better quality seafood and produce I usually go to Uwajimaya but dried goods are alit cheaper here.

Is the same size as the one used to be on Oahu and much bigger than the one in Vegas, it has all the items you expect and were looking for. Staff not really "present" they seem like they are just robotically doing minimum required to get paid and go home. not very clean location, but everything is priced right. Parking can get crazy depending on when you shop.

Make sure to check the expiration date when you buy anything from this store. Bought a mochi which was on sale, and one had mold and the other one gave me a stomach ache. Curry was also on sale, and saw several packages with expired exp date by more than 2months. Other than that, they got decent number of asian food. Just be careful with expiration date.

You can get a whole crate of coconut water for ~$13 (as opposed to $4 a can anywhere else). I also love to stock up on frozen dumplings (they sell soup dumplings! steam them in your rice cooker) and its the only place I can consistently find pea greens. We make a pilgrimage here every few months or so, would go more often if we lived closer!

Probably the best Asian grocery store in Seattle area. I go there frequently for fresh meat, fish (which can be cooked on the spot), Chinese vegetables, all kinds of sauces. It also has a nice variety of Japanese food and alcohol. Theres also a mini canteen and a bakery. Definitely recommend it if youre looking for authentic Asian food.

Your head will explode! So much to shop for, bakery, Asian delli, meat market, fish market~ Big Hint 1) pick you fish, 2) request your prep, 3) have the whole fish deep fried OR they can also steam cook your selections, and the end price Unbelievable but believe me!!!!!!!!!!!

Really good sellings but they should really improve on the food at the food court. The noodles are very hard, and they havent changed anything in a day!!! + They give admin to me to get in 99 Ranch when it was closed... Rate it a 4... You should really do better!

Love, love this place, great supermarket selection and many items that are not available in other grocery stores! Also a wonderful bakery up front with pork buns like I used to buy in Hawaii and a plate lunch style Chinese eat in or take out restaurant!

Asian Supermarket behemoth. Its huge, has fresh groceries and certainly Asian sauces and items galore. Some cashiers speak poor English, but you should have no problem there. Its also tidier and cleaner than most Asian markets (except Uwajimaya).

Prices are not great compared to Asian markets in the Seattles international district, but cant really complain since its one of very few up this far north. There are sales that can be very good. Store is Clean. Fast checkouts. Many varieties.

Big store with a wide selection of Asian foods, seaweeds, mochi, frozen lychee and rare fruit drinks and desserts, many sauces, etc... but also has a pronounced unpleasant smell and the shelves are not dusted. I go there as rarely as possible.
