Every time I enter Im blown away with Microsofts attention to detail when it comes to customer service. From buying a new phone to getting my desktop tower serviced (for free!) every experience has been a positive one. The friendly associates are empowered to do what it takes to make you happy, sometimes at significant cost to the company. My Surface Pro 1 was showing signs of hard drive failure - I went in, had it looked over, and was told that while they couldnt fix the issue, they COULD give me a brand new Surface Pro 3, all for free. I had purchased the Microsoft Complete protection plan along with the tablet originally, but had no idea it granted that kind of swap-out! They also let me exchange my Surface 1 Type Cover for a Surface 3 Type Cover, as the size had changed with the new model. - even though it wasnt covered by Microsoft Complete itself. The sales associate I worked with didnt have to okay the upgrade with a manager - he was empowered to do it himself, without any additional hassle. Ive never been upsold on a product or piece of software, and in my experience theyve gone out of their way to avoid charging me whenever possible. It may be a byproduct of being a store one city over from Redmond, but regardless, if you want anything from a computer checkup to a new tablet, this is definitely the place to go.

Employees here couldnt care less for patrons who dont look rich enough or worthy of purchasing a new computer. I had the money in my hand and I was asking questions and trying to get their attention so we can make some businesses, but they all catered directly to the richer families with children who didnt give a damn about technology. I was literally in the store for more than half an hour and experienced no interaction directly from an employee to see if I had an interest in purchasing a Surface, because thats what I was playing with during my entire visit. I bugged this one employee multiple times about pricing and taxes and he didnt even seem to care for my interest in buying the actual product. Instead he went forth to serve a much wealthier looking family to buy a laptop and I was overhearing their conversation and he kept trying to upsell them towards all these useless upgrades and extra warranties and even forcing a subscription of Microsoft Office onto their kid. Luckily Im not from here, so I have much better MS locations to go to. Sorry, Bellevue. I expected so much from this area considering Microsoft is just across town from here.

Well, while I was really hoping the bad reviews were wrong, they were spot on. Disorganized and I mean no disrespect, but it seemed there were no adults on the premises - mostly high school kids. Trying to find out if they could help me with my Surface was like pulling teeth. The welcome person sent me back to "3 tables down to the man in the red shirt"; who was helping someone install something. I went back and then the same welcome person sent me to the person in the green shirt. I explained I am on my lunch hour; and he told me he couldnt help. Only people at the 3rd table - who were busy and there was no clear organization. Finally I talked to someone how had a big grin on his face - I think to make me feel better - and said the next appointment is at 2:30. I should have made my appointment online. I left frustrated and again wondering why I use Microsoft products or do any upgrades. I will not go back to this store - it just seemed like it was for highschool kids only run by kids. Which is cool if that is what they are going for and if you can actually get good service.

Went there to buy a Xbox One Bundle with two games. Day1: They said they were out of stock with one of the games and sent me home. Day2: I really wanted a Xbox One. Called them back to find out when they could get it stocked up. A gentleman helped me order it online and get it delivered to my home using one day shipping. I was delighted. Day2: I wanted to plan to collect the delivery from home. But the tracking ID did not resolve. Called customer care and was informed that there is something wrong with my order and had to cancel the order. Very frustrating to be on the call for over 2 hours (one hour to cancel and one hour to re-order). He promised to give me a Xbox $25 gift card to help with the frustration. There are few good attendants at the store but if you go to the wrong ones it is a waste of time. If the store people are reading this, please keep your items all stocked up to avoid loosing customers.

Went into the store looking for a tablet. We had a bunch of questions which really no one seemed to know the answer to. We were trying to find a keyboard to go with the tablet and the lady we asked had no idea what we were talking about and said they had none however; I later found one on the sales floor. Another man acted like we were stupid when we asked for a different color tablet case (the advertising sign said they should have black, blue, and white. We could only find black and blue and we really wanted white), he then told us they only carried blue... They didnt seem to know much about their products. It was very hard to find someone who knew much about any of the products. When we went to check out, we had a young sales girl who was very sweet and even gave us a student discount (we didnt even have to ask)! She is the only reason they got 3 stars.

I had a very pleasant experience visiting the Microsoft Store at Bellevue Square today. My laptop was attacked by a virus which created an endless stream of pop-up ads. The technician Tanner did some diagnostic testing & found the virus in no time. While we waited for the diagnostics to be finished he brought us coffee & tea. He explained everything in detail & was very pleasant to deal with. I ended up having my laptop serviced (1-2 day service) - to remove the virus & upgrade to Windows 10 - for free! While I was there I ended up buying a cell phone with the great help of Sean who backed up my data & set up my new phone so I could use it right away. Both of the technicians were knowledgeable, time efficient & provided excellent customer service. Thank you & I will be back!

Cant buy anything fast and get out ! Wanted to buy a throw away laptop and I was late for a meeting, but this sales person insisted that she knew what I needed and wasted a good five minutes of my time in the end trying to sell me some sort of extended warranty, which you obviously dont need on a throw away notebook ! In the end she gave me the option to have the receipt emailed to me which I said yes and rushed out to my meeting, I never received the email containing the receipt ! The funny thing was that this "more knowledgeable" sales person joined in at some point and started spewing out jargon he didnt fully understand about ARMs architecture ... they really wanted this Windows RT to get somewhere ! Still way better than the Apple store reps tho !
