We took my mothers plain gold band wedding ring in to Gilbert Thomes for what I would have thought would be a simple resizing (making it smaller). The resizing process was a complete mess- 4 visits spanning more than 6 weeks- and they never got it right. Although they say they will call when a ring is ready- dont believe them. I had to call and check on my mothers ring multiple times. At our last visit we were told there was nothing else they could do and my mother now has a ring to small to wear- after more than 6 weeks and after paying for a resizing that they never got right. We now plan to go to a reputable jeweler and pay someone else to fix their resizing mistakes.
