Stories and Narrative are the currency of todays business and consumers. Wanted to share briefly my experience at Kassab Jewelers in Lake Oswego. In December, my wife and I (26+ years) were on a date night in Portland wandering down Broadway after a movie. We happened by Kassab Jewelers half kiddingly looking for a new ring for an off-numbered anniversary, because thats how I roll. #27 was coming up in March and it was time to invest in the next 27 years. We found what I didnt think wed find...a solitaire tension set ring that was so understated yet immaculate when you study the design and proportion. It hid a nice size diamond without flaunting it. There was also a matching band with diamonds that really put it together. We left with a photo and a business card with the information. In February, I decided to call Kassab back and see what they could do on a package. Being a bit more casual guy than big city, I called Kassab in the suburbs where I grew up - in Lake Oswego. Sandy answered the phone and took down my information to research a bit further. Id been online and that only gets you so far. I told Sandy what I was specifically looking for from our visit to the PDX store and she took it from there. She had organized a surprise visit for my wife and I in there store on a Saturday in mid February where we happened to be on a walk in Lake Oswego. When we arrived, I said Hi Sandy and the immediate response was "you must be D & K." The surprise and exchange was enchanting. Ill spare detail, but leave it enough that we were the King and Queen that day in the shop. They had brought in at least 6 loose diamonds to choose from with varying prices and quality. They sized the rings, and quietly in the background crunched the numbers without making cost the main deal, rather what we were looking for. At the same time, did the best possible on price to value and showed me different options. As we left, I let them know Id be making a call within a day or two and give them the go-ahead without my wife even knowing. I let Sandy know our anniversary date and the rest was history. The ring showed up completely set with our specific diamond a day before, with a full appraisal. I was able to secretly have a waiter at Dundee Bistro have the ring attached to a nice bottle of wine brought to our table. Happy 27. Nothing odd about the number. It made perfect sense to me to celebrate now. Thank you Sandy and Kassab for making this part a stress free reality. A truly stress free experience. Buying a ring does not have to be like buying a car. Go to Kassab, Im pretty confident you wont be disappointed. Thank you. 5* and best wishes to you.

Kassab Jewelers in Lake Oswego is by far the most welcoming and knowledgeable jewelry store in the Portland area. I worked directly with Sandy Ponder and Phillip Susan, two incredibly patient and understanding associates. Unlike my time at other Portland jewelry stores, I was given as much one-on-one consultation time as I needed. They took the time to learn what I was looking for in an engagement ring, and worked with my budget to present me with great options. I never felt pressured or intimidated because they were truly working with me to find the best ring. Their above and beyond service is what makes them unique. Before I even set foot inside a jewelry store, I performed an extensive amount of research online. However, I quickly learned that shopping for an engagement ring at Kassab Jewelers provides intangibles that one cannot get from shopping online. This included their professional opinions and experience with different diamonds and settings, the ability to view the diamond in person (which is MUCH more important than I initially thought), and the service and guarantees that are part of a purchase. On top of this, Sandy and Phillip found me a better quality and larger GIA certified diamond than if I had purchased online or from another jewelry store. Ultimately, I purchased a ring that my fiancée loves and I feel great about because I know that I received a great value. I recommend Kassab Jewelers in Lake Oswego to anyone who wants to find the perfect piece of jewelry with honest, personal, professional and friendly service.

My experience at Kassab Jewelers in Lake Oswego was outstanding. In brief, I brought my Tacori engagement ring into the store after I noticed I had damaged (bent) it. Being new to the Portland area, I searched for a licensed Tacori dealer, and came across Kassab. It was my first experience with Kassab - surely, the first of many! Sandra was so incredibly helpful. She listened to my concerns and immediately took action. She was on the phone with Tacori within minutes & arranged for my ring to be sent back for repair. No detail was left unturned- she confirmed (and re-confirmed) with Tacori when (and how) my ring was to be shipped, repaired & returned. In addition to orchestrating all of this, she noticed my ring appraisal paperwork was lacking some key information & re-appraised my wedding band, engagement ring & my husbands wedding band. She was even willing to stay late to ensure I was able to pick up my rings on the evening they returned to the store. And when I did pick them up, they were as clean and sparkly as the day I got them! All around an incredibly positive, outstanding experience. Top notch customer service. Professional, friendly & thorough. I felt like Sandra cared about my ring just as much as I did. Weve certainly found our jeweler in the Portland area! Ive gotta say this was quite the experience. After going to several different jewelers, nothing could come close to the quality, price, and attention to service that we got with Phillip at Kassab here in Lake Oswego. My fiance and I were having a custom wedding band built, and the folks at Kassab expertly worked with us to design exactly what we wanted. The finished product was stunning, and the incredible customer service along the way only solidified this branch and team as our go-to jeweler.

Buying an engagement ring is so freaking stressful but then I randomly walked into Kassab in the mall and met with Michael. I finally, after looking at 7 different jeweler stores and over a hundred rings, found the best ring and I feel like I underpaid. Coming back for mine and hers wedding band.
