1. The store needs more outside security at night. I got off late from work and ran inside to grab a couple of items - when I got back to my vehicle there was a dark colored vehicle parked very close to mine. I had intentionally parked away from all of the other vehicles so why did this vehicle need to park by my drivers side door. Believe you me many things came to mind. The people in the vehicle all watched me as I put my groceries in the trunk; I usually unload the groceries onto the drivers side rear seat but I couldnt. It really put me in an fearful and awkward position. I had to ask one of the guys pushing carts to stand by my car until I got into the car safely. How sad is that, Fred Meyers Auburn? 2. I have recently used the stores customer service counter twice in as many months. These people are selectively friendly or not at all; I got interrogated about a Kroger brand sea salt. I just did not want it. I did not open it. I just bought the wrong brand. I thought I picked Mortons but she kept nagging me about it. The other time was when I had to return a gallon of ice cream because I was not going to make it home in time to a freezer and I had only been a few minutes out of the door with the product. The woman barely even acknowledged me; never once, that I saw, looked me in the eye. She mumbled something about a dollar amount - I could not tell if she was telling me if I was going to get a refund or not. She hardly said much as I explained why. I took my changed and as I was a more than six feet away from her, she said something about thanking me or something or another about Fred Meyer. I spend a lot of money at this store. If I can find another Fred Meyer on the way home from work that has people who can simply acknowledge another human being in a polite way, I am gone from this store... if not, and if Fred Meyer doesnt care how their employees represent the company ..then fine, it is on to another non-Kroger store.

I love this store. You get what you pay for, quality wise, and it lasts a long time. Whether its clothing, shoes or household items. I really love how professional and kind the deli and bakery staff are, too. They always greet you with a smile and go out of their way to make sure your needs are met. I have never had a negative experience at this bakery or deli. (Bakery and Deli staff are the real rock stars of great customer service. I am proud of our Auburn Fred Meyer bakery and Deli Staff). I also love how there are fresh fruits in the fruits and vegetables aisles that are free! I have never seen that before, ever, at any store. Another thing that I really love about this store is the natural foods section just across from the bakery. I am beginning to change my eating habits/ ways and Auburn Fred Meyer has a section of their store for organic, healthier, more natural foods. Soy products. Many different variations of tea. Fresh herbs. Etc. And I love it. Its not a full natural foods store but its the next best thing for you. (me). The only real issue that I have encountered while shopping there was the electrical carts not always being fully charged. But, that just depends on how many shoppers use the carts and when. I would imagine most stores have this problem at any given moment. (Some of my relatives and loved ones need the electrical carts and sometimes they dont have any available or have any fully charged). But, this store has great employees who provide excellent customer service.

Why is FRED MEYER allowing 3rd party vendors to solicit gas station customers as we are PUMPING OUR GAS? This is a vulnerable position to be in - to be solicited at the pump with the stores authorization. Its alarming that FRED MEYER would expect female customers to accept being solicited outside the store after dark. Do they seriously expect women to make a purchase from a non-FRED MEYER employee after sundown (which occurs around 4:30 pm) as they pump gas? This new policy shows a lack of concern for the overall well-being of FRED MEYER customers, especially women. Its ironic that FRED MEYER cashiers are locked in a booth as they handle gas transactions. I am suggesting that all 3rd party solicitors be positioned INSIDE the store, in the foyer, where it is apparent they are authorized by FRED MEYER so customers can feel safe while being solicited.

Very clearly said to electronics employee I needed Windows 8, no upgrade or anything like that I need the regular version of it. He gets it out of the locked case, I buy it and go home. I open the plastic and underneath the store sticker it says "upgrade". I quickly bring it back and explain to them what happened and they wont let me return it. I was gone with it for 5 minutes and they refuse to take it back even though its their fault and I have absolutely no use for this product. Im never buying ANY electronics there ever again. FYI the product I actually needed was 40 bucks cheaper on Amazon and their picture doesnt hide what it is. I was about to drop 300 bucks on a new computer monitor there that I like. Oh well. Hope it was worth losing a customer who has been going to this location for everything for the last 7 years.

I have been a customer at North Auburn Fred Meyer Washington State for a number of years. Today, June 12th 2017, I purchased items from Third Dimension Salon, located within the store. After purchasing my items I decided to shop around the Fred Meyer. I have never been so humiliated. I heard the overhead speaking. Both times it called for customer service in the depts I was in. I then observed a police officer within very close range of me. It was as if I was there stealing. I am 55 years old and never have stolen anything in my life! I will never purchase anything from Fred Meyer again. Maybe it was because I was holding a bag from the salon. Very humiliating as I mentioned above. Maybe someone needs more training in Customer Service. Shame on you for making a long term customer feel this way...

They have the best, most reasonably priced organic store brand. Their other prices are decent. They have a great produce section with some unique options along with the usual fruits and veggies. They have a good selection of salads, sandwiches, hot deli food and sushi. Theres even vegan sushi, too. The seating area of the deli have coffee, milkshakes, soda, and icees. In the entrance there are 3 cart options: kids cart, small and regular size. You can fill up refillable water jugs there, too. Customer service can often have long lines but somewhat tolerable. The pharmacy has lines sometimes and very little seating. There is no longer a Starbucks attached to the outside of this location. I wish the nutrition section was a bit bigger.

I shop there often and it has gone downhill in the past year or so. Riff raff hanging around. Dirty outside. Inside is OK. Peeps are friendly. The pets inside a shopping cart where produce goes.....HUGE no-no and that needs to be addressed. However, we r required to be PC even tho it affects our health and safety. No white manager is going to approach another ethnic person and tell them to remove animal from basket. The manager will be spit on, yelled at and accused of being racial even tho they r not. Get used to the poo butts in yer carts! FM employees are not allowed to take a stand. They get to watch a person blatantly steal and watch them walk out the door. Not allowed to approach or detain or question.
