They are running a bogus ad campaign where they send out coupons that read "one coupon per customer day." So I go in with my wife and am told at the register that we cant both use a coupon because we are in the same family, even with separate transactions. The cashier is a long term employee and this is a long term national ad campaign so you know this has come up before. Apparently they are training their cashiers to do everything possible to not honor the coupons. When I let the management know that I would no longer be a patron of their store they attempted to assure me that we could use as many coupons as we had people in our party and all in one transaction too, but clearly that was a back pedal when they were confronted on it. In addition, we went next door to the dollar store and find many of the items that Harbor Freight has advertised as "originally $8.99 now $1.99 As advertised" and of course they were only $1.00 at the dollar store. I also saw several toys in the toy isle that I have seen this season at numerous other stores and Harbor Freights price was nearly double the prices Ive seen elsewhere. Just about everything they sell can be found at other stores for the same or better prices and better brands (higher quality) and if not, then you dont want it anyway because it will break on your first use or shortly thereafter. Harbor Freight is not a store that deserves your business.

Cheap one-use tools, nothing wrong with that! I personally wouldnt buy anything with a lot of moving parts that I plan to own for a long time (like an air compressor) But stuff like a breaker bar, flash light, saw blades, etc are just fine. Even bought a cut-off tool a few years ago thats still going strong.

Bought my jeeps winch from here (which coming from a die hard supporter of only high end products, is a great winch). The pricing was great and the staff were also super helpful and friendly. One of staff went through the differences of model numbers and knew alot about them. Definetly coming back here.

Looks like they get most of their items straight from China with minimal markup. Lots of items you find here are the same you would find at the major retailers but for much lower prices. Smaller selection but good pricing. Business model is similar to Aldies, but for tools and small machinery.

Terrible service and the worst employees!!! Be careful when you use coupons!!! They hate to accept the coupons!!! And check your receipt before you leave!!! They charged more!!! You will get all kind of bad experience from this store!!! I never go again!!!!!

One of the bigger HFTs that Ive been to. Definitely have a lot of stock and still great prices. Service is "good" just because I think theyre all new which is normal.
