I am giving 1 star because I received the parts I ordered - and paid for. Otherwise, this was an extremely disappointing experience. Had there been more money involved, I would have harsher words to describe it. Here are the facts as my warning to would-be WR Hardware customers: I was renovating a sliding glass door on a home I had for sale, and which I was renovating for sale. My first attempt at this job. The door is old, unknown manufacture. Both glides were shot. After a search online, I found very similar ones available from WRHardware. Actually, the first place I looked, but the price seemed reasonable enough ($25 for two), I thought the shipping was a little steep ($12.95), but I needed the parts, so I ordered them and figured Id have them in a few days - the shipping was supposed to be by UPS Ground, and there was no indication the parts were not in stock. I went on to other jobs and waited to receive the glides. After about 2 weeks, my card had not yet been charged by WRHardware, and I did not have the parts. Attempts to call got me to the accounting department, that had no knowledge of my order. I decided it was lost. While shopping for other items I needed for the home renovation, I noticed that Lowes had the exact glides, for $4 less per. Since I had nothing from WRHardware, and had not been charged, and I needed to get the door finished and back on the house, I bought the Lowes glides. While working at the house on October 3, 2016, the mail person dropped off a package that had been shipped USPS - not UPS Ground - and there were the WRHardware glides. I looked at my bank account, and found I had been charged on September 29, 2016, one month after I order the glides. I received an e-mail from the accounting department that same day with an invoice attached. After one more phone call and two e-mails, saying that I couldnt use the parts that came over 1 month from the date I ordered them, I was told that there are no returns for orders under $100, pursuant to some caveat or other that I accepted when I placed the order. I get the legalese crap, but I believe that if you are going to rely on such statements for protection from unrealistic expectations and situations beyond your control, your responsibility to your customer is to otherwise over-deliver on realistic expectations, and warn your customer if you experience something beyond your control that keeps you from meeting the expectation. I still have no idea why it took 5 weeks for the glides to reach me. WRHardware doesnt seem to care. So, buyer beware.

Wow... I am amazed at the pathetic level of service I have received. I placed a simple order online for 2 rollers 4/14. I called to follow up on 4/18 and Dawn (2 syllables) told me they were "in production 7-10 days". I followed up again 4/27 and Chuck told me they would be "in production 7-10 days". I asked where it was in production and how soon it would ship out and all Chuck could do was repeat himself, over and over again, "in production 7-10 days". Its now been 2 weeks they have had our money with nothing to show for it. I checked their site and on their About Us page under No Voicemail".. they proudly tout... "If youre like us, when you want to speak to someone you dont want to go through a bunch of extensions just to get to a person and have them go DUHHHH?!?! " Well... guess what?????

DO NOT SHOP at WR Hardware. I purchased a door lock over the internet and accidentally ordered the wrong color - chrome instead of black to match my door. They absolutely refuse to exchange the lock for me. I am not asking for money back just simply change the color, and the locks are in the original packaging never been opened. They think they are so smart and business savvy by asking me to only purchase the black ones new and throw away the chrome ones. VERY FRUSTRATING. I even offered to pay for the shipping to send them the chrome and send me back the black, but they refuse. DO NOT SHOP HERE.

I ordered window thumb lifts because because the quantity I need exceeds the hardware store stock. I ordered these items on June 12 and received them on July 13... 1 month later ! Then when I opened the box they did NOT provide any screws to install these !! Keep in mind this is a specialty item. I called in and was told " we do not do the screws. Asked if they would send them to me he stated " no, you need to go to a hardware stare and purchase the screws yourself ". Absolutely ridiculous. And their return policy is a labyrinth ! What a Fking Joke !! Never again with W.R. Hardware !!!! Ugh !!

Waited one month no product,called three times,told item just came out of production each time,last time i called i told them it was pathetic to wait this long,then got an email from lady called Dawn that due to my attitude they cancelled my order.WOW ive never seen anything like this.Stay away from this place.The only thing more pathetic than these people is that i have to give them one star.Really folks read the reviews,i wish i would have first

Avoid this place at all costs. Very unprofessional. I ordered a few items that there web site said takes on average 10 business days. After 2 months, of every possible excuse...(lie after lie), machine broke, held for material, operator on vacation, cant give you a date when they will ship. I finally cancelled, and when I asked him for a few details on the order placed, Chuck dropped an "F" bomb on me!!! ...Nice!!!

Called to get a part for my new closet doors (they came missing some items from the store). Anyway, I didn’t want to have to return the whole thing after I almost had the doors completely installed so I called WR Hardware. The man that assisted me couldn’t have been more helpful. He located the roller I needed and I had it before the weekend. Yay!! Doors look great now.

Never do business with this company. I ordered window parts from this wr hardware company and was sent the wrong size. When I asked for an exchange I was put in touch with someone named Dawn. She was very rude and refused to exchange my items because the purchase was under $100. These people are very unfriendly do not do business with them.

Would never do business with this company again. I ordered some window parts on June 1, 2016 and they arrived on July 5, 2016. I emailed them, I faxed them. No reply. It says it has been family owned for many years. I think the current generation has gone fishing. I ordered the same parts from Swisco. The parts arrived in 2 days.

Mrs. Dawn is very rude and disrespectful. Refuses to take back any returns or even exchange the product. She took personal shots at me financially and was very disgusting with her demeanor and tone of voice towards me. Never will do business with them again. Would recommend staying as far away from this company as possible!!!
