Off Leash transformed my eight month old pit puppy; we sent him to the two-week resident training and he came back a new dog. Before, my pup was unruly, had accidents in the house, and took me for walks. I was really at my wits end and thought more than once of bring him back to the SPCA. After two weeks, he was confident, happy and well behaved. Bryan, the trainer, showed us how to use the training collar and how to continue training after the initial two weeks. Our pup is so much happier now than before the training; it built his confidence and he loves to show off his new tricks. There is a lifetime guarantee for the training, which was a plus for me going in. Off Leash was more expensive than other training in the area, but none offered a two-week in resident course and none are as comprehensive. My husband and I watched a video on their website and thought that if we could get our pup to act 50% as well as the promo-dog, it would be worth it. And when he came back from the two weeks, he could do all the commands that promo-dog did, and, moreover, I have control over my dog out in public. I have since taken him downtown, to the dog park, and even in a restaurant and he was incredibly well behaved. Our pup has been home two weeks since his training and he is doing better than ever. I am so thankful that we invested in this training. We are going to have this dog for the next 10+ years and now I feel like I can truly enjoy having him. The cost of the training is a fraction of what I would have to pay if my dog got in a fight or bit a person. This was so worth it. I would be happy to talk to anyone in person if you want more info. I feel strongly that we made a great decision by getting him this training. All I can say is that I would gladly pay it again - completely, completely worth it.

We can’t recommend Off Leash K9 training enough! We began working with Ashlie in the summer of 2015 to help us train our newly adopted, yet rather stubborn senior dog Bella. We were so impressed with Bella’s progress after each individual lesson that we began using those same methods with our Coonhound Beagle, Benny. He caught on so quickly that we began incorporating more advanced lessons and within a very short time, Benny became our first off leash dog. He loves the freedom he now gets on his walks. In August 2015, we adopted yet another senior dog – a 9-year old Senior Boxer called Sir Greg. We found that he was excellent with our kids, dogs and us but, as he settled into our household, he became extremely protective. Walking him by other dogs and cats became a challenge and our walks were no longer enjoyable. When he lunged at our neighbor, we knew we needed Off Leash K9’s help once again. We enrolled him in the two-week board and train program with Brant as we felt he needed dedicated attention. Brant did a marvelous job with him! We are ever so grateful. We loved the updates we received during his stay. Sir Greg has been home for three weeks and has made an incredible amount of progress. He is a new dog! He learned his basic and advanced commands and has been off leash many times since. We continue to work with him daily to reinforce everything he learned. We have tried other training methods like clicker training and treats and they simply don’t deliver the results that Off Leash K9 does. Off Leash K9 will train all of our future dogs! They are simply that good!

Our one year old German Shepherd needed more training. We tried two locally both who were reward/treat based training and she knew commands but wouldnt do them consistently. Being a teenager she was highly excitable and aggressively friendly. We knew she needed more or she could hurt herself or others. We enrolled her in the two week camp and she is a different dog but the same dog too. Her personality is still there but she is much calmer and when you give her a command she complies. We took her to her vets office about a week ago and they didnt believe she was the same dog! Others have said how much calmer and how well behaved she is now. Dont listen to those who tell you an e-collar is a "shock collar" it is the same exact thing they use in chiropractor offices and therapy to loosen muscles. It gets their attention when turned up but it has been rare we do turn it up at all. Most times it is us holding the remote and clicking it on "0". Considering where she was prior? That is amazing! The training is worth every cent!

EXCELLENT! There isnt one person affiliated with this organization who I didnt genuinely like. They are skilled, dedicated and down right pleasant. If you are having any reservations about using an e-collar, have them try it on you (we tried it on our hands) so you can experience what your dog will feel. If you do the training, you will walk away amazed after the first lesson. It is incredibly effective. I feel so comfortable now walking with my springer in the woods or in a park. I know she will come to me as soon as I give the command (or stop and sit where she is at if I say sit). This is a great investment for you and your dog - it gives you peace of mind and helps keep your pup safe. Youll find that it wont take long at all before you can give the command with the e-collar on zero (which basically means it is nothing more than a clicker). I am very pleased with the e-collar and loved the staff at off leash training! I highly recommend them.

Our 4 yr old pit-lab and 3 yr old hound-boxer-gazelle mixes had had other forms of training, but that didnt keep the pit-lab mix, reggie, from running off and getting hit by a car when he wanted something more than our treats. We were lucky the costs were only majorly financial and weeks of bandage changes and sleepless nights. Our times walking them on the leash were dreaded and risky. Now, after this amazing training, which is much less expensive than the vet bills from the accident, we dont worry about them on leash and they are the best behaved dogs at the park. We went from embarrassed and worried to proud and confident in weeks. Now we dont worry about reggie not listening and getting hit, and we all get the benefits of off leash hikes, worry free family and park visits, and much more pleasurable walks. It is worth every penny. If only we had done it before the accident. We wouldve saved so much money.

We took our 2 year old dog to the two week board and train with Ashlie. We had already been to 3 trainers and while we took bits of success from each, we still had a dog that was often out of control and with a growing bite record. He is a large dog and was difficult for us to control. Ashlie was very confident she could help, and she certainly did. Her patience and introduction to the ecollar was invaluable for us. Its amazing what 5 commands can do for a dog! We now have a dog that we can control and keep ourselves and others safe. Perhaps just as importantly he has relaxed due to the increased leadership we are now able to provide to him. He is without a doubt a more relaxed, happier dog. I couldnt recommend Ashlie and theyre training enough.
