My husband and I were both so excited when we stumbled upon this little gem today! My husband has a culinary background and we are always looking for something new to try at home. We were greeted by a young lady that was super excited about her job, was extremely helpful and gave us the rundown, which included helping ourselves to their various samplings. We LOVED everything we tried and probably would have walked out with half the store had we not been so turned off by the other woman working, whom greeted me with "thats $250!", referring to the bottle of oil I had in my hand and then began to follow us around the small space the rest of our visit, acting as if we couldnt possibly afford the product(s). I thrive myself on being an extremely positive person and honestly dont think Ive ever given a bad review; however, even though I was impressed with the initial greet, explanation and variety, we left with such a feeling of disgust by our treatment at the end. I guess my advice would be, make sure to wear your "Sunday best" if you want to be treated with any respect and taken seriously by the woman I came into contact with today.

I visited this store at the Short Pump Mall for the first time on Oct. 21, 2016. The staff were so friendly and extremely helpful. Having the opportunity to view the identity of the oils and vinegars and taste any one I would choose was really helpful. However, upon the recommendation of the young lady that helped me (whose name I do not remember) I chose a delicious vinegar and oil that combined taste amazing! Plan to try on salad this week-end. LOVED my experience and look forward to future purchases. This store is a must if you entertain at home or even for your own self enjoyment. The staff is super friendly and knowledgeable of the products. Love the varieties of flavors for oils, vinegars and lots of spices too. It is great that they share recipe ideas. This is especially good for new comers; so that the first time cooking decision isnt so over whelming. Quality oils make a big difference in preparing dishes.

Very helpful folks. They will recommend oil & vinager pairings, & recipes, and allow you to taste multiple combinations. You also get lots of free sample goodies when you make a purchase! The oils & vinegars are delicious, though somewhat pricey. Good for an occasional treat to liven up your cooking, salads, etc.

This is by far my favorite gourmet food store! Its rare to be able to try most things before you buy but you can do it here. Ive used many of their products and Im addicted to them. The customer service is wonderful as well. Highly recommend this store!
