Visited as an out of town tourist who was not familiar with the brand. Had everything I needed for my visit but prices were higher than I expected. They seem to not carry a full lineup of generic/store brand products that rival name brand items. However, compared to the local beach town stores, this store was a true gift in pricing and selection even with a 10 Mile drive from my rental. I was able to sign up for their store discount card at a self serve kiosk that also printed some coupons. The staff was kind and helpful and I didnt have to wait to pay for my items.

Excellent fresh produce selection. Very helpful staff. I am handicapped, and the cashiers are very helpful, putting my bags into the electric cart for me. One associate, Jackie, always extremely helpful, from finding items for me, to helping me when the batteries died in my electric cart. They need more of those carts, with longer lasting batteries! Prices very fair. Much better selections and prices much more reasonable than the market on Chincoteague. Well worth the trip!

I couldnt find lemongrass in any form at the Walmart Supercenter up north and had almost given up. I called this Food Lion and spoke with a very helpful guy named Dave in produce. He had just put out fresh lemongrass! and said it goes fast because hes limited in how much hes allowed to buy. "Have your friend (who had never heard of lemongrass) find me and Ill make sure he gets some." Great customer service!

My wife and i where here shopping and waiting for the bus to return home and the manager made a cowardly phone call to the police about us being here before he even knew why... When the police got here then he was man enough to walk up to us and ask why and could do nothing cause we where at the bus stop

Not cleanest food lion. Also kind of dated. Doesnt have a huge selection of chips. Mainly the basics. Same for soda. Loads of meats. Lacks on produce a lot. Oranges are from africa. It has no one to compete with. If harris teeter, publix, or Kroger moved in food lion would be done.

Food selection is okay. Few, if any high quality meats. Produce is fresh as are bakery goods. The variety of selections is not great, but they carry most popular brands, but are unwilling to special order. Dairy products are rotated to ensure freshness.

I dropped someone off to let them run in the store and drove a lap around the parking lot and came back and stopped and a police officer pulled in behind me because an employee called and said i blocked the fire lane.

Well there isnt that much cars that pull in where Im at so we get good parking also the foods I tried from them in my opinion was devined but the people or workers were rude so I gave them 4 stars GG food Lion...GG
