Ive been shopping at this Food Lion for years. Its nothing special, just your average grocery store. Its generally clean and the staff is generally friendly. Every now and then you get a cashier who seems to be grumpy and having a bad day but these days thats expected. I regularly visit this store to get meat from the deli for lunch sandwiches. I always get Kretschmar brand deli meat because its actually edible as opposed to the Food Lion brand meat which tastes like it was soaked in ditch water before being delivered to your mouth. This wasnt a problem until today when I found out that they no longer sell Kretschmar deli meat and only sell Food Lion brand deli meat. This is pretty upsetting. The Eastern Shore is littered with Food Lions. In order to get to a decent grocery store (aka Harris Teeter) you have to drive 30-40 minutes if you live in the Delmar/Salisbury area. Food Lion is becoming a waste of space and is starting to remind me of the Wal-Mart grocery shopping experience.

The bakery has screwed up three of the birthday cakes for my kids the Last Straw or 3rd Strike per say was looking down to cut the cake and seeing hair not typical a hair fell out of a hairnet but look to be like somebody with shaving on top of my daughters cakes I can except the fact that they dont completely read their tickets and produce whatever cake they want at the time theyre making it. Completely unacceptable.

I shop at Food Lion every week. Sometimes more than once a week. The Delmar store is horrible on stocking for sales. Every week, I have an issue of some sort. Just yesterday. I was buying flowers...they were browning and I asked for a s discount. The produce manager was very rude and refused. Cashiers are nice, but All management is bad. I guess they do not value their regular customers. Not Happy!

David is wrong I was just here, David said the cream cheese 1.92, its not, its 1.50. Do the math guy. I didnt buy any, because honestly, if Im gonna get cream cheese, I am getting Philly brand. I mean really, why skimp on the cream cheese? What kind of freak are you David?

The Delmar store refused to allow my husband ronnie windsor to purchase chicken hearts and instead sent him home with chicken livers instead. we have also been told not to purchase alcoholic beverages in that store. thank you your new secretary of defense

This is my "go to" llocal market. I often buy grass fed beef there; wish they had more PALEO items, but its growing. Gluten free options in bread and cereal helped me lose weight.

Some sales are good but foodlion cream cheese is $1 higher than Walmart. Yours 1.97 and walmart .92, they have 2pack for 1.84. Do the math.
