I went to this food lion after picking up my wife of two years from her class at old dominion. The original stop was for cat litter being that I needed some. As i was walking to the checkout line i saw a case of bud light. i thought to myself... WHY NOT so i picked it up as well. as i walked up to the register, I was rudely confronted about two IDs, being 21 and my wife 20, I was denied the purchase of the beer. We were the only two people in the store. I feel it is ridiculous that myself as a legal adult cannot buy beer because my wife is 20. I put the beer in the isle walked out and put my cat litter in the car turned around went back in to the food lion by myself and grabbed another case of bud light took it to the same register and bought the beer no questions asked! no excuse for the rude behavior and terrible customer service. i have been very greatful for food lion and theyre prices, but after this experience I assure you my MVP card is cut now and i will never shop there again!

Love this store-produce always looks good & enjoy fresh farmers varity-employees are helpful wherever you are in the store-check outs swift-friendly & if you are ever dissatisfied the happlily make it right - meat fresh great variety - choice meats -wonderful deli- give it a 10 out of 10
