Bah! This place is useless unless you live around the corner. Was excited to have a shop within walking distance. But no matter what time we tried to catch them on the weekend, they would be sold out and/or closed. What, do they make a several dozen then call it a day? The ONE time they were still open and had dougnnuts left, they only had "filled" flavors - yuck for my taste. Id rather bike all the way to Fells and enjoy Diablo Doughnuts where I know theyre local and friendly. I know theyll be delicious. And I know theyll keep making dougnnuts for the city to enjoy until they close. Heck, last time I was at Diablo, the owner addressed the folks in line to let them know that even more would be out soon and about how long it would take. So we strolled around the harbor a bit and by the time we came back (about 15 mins), they had a hot batch of fresh dougnnuts ready to go! Now thats a local doughnut shop :) I give up on this B. place.

B. Doughnut is probably one of the best doughnut shops in the DC area, it has grown to be one of my favorites. They serve up malasada-style doughnuts, with a selection of sweet flavors and even a couple savory varieties. The doughnuts are soft and chewy on the inside and have a crisp bite from the sugar coating. Its sounds unusual to have a savory doughnut but it totally works here. Think of an "everything" bagel in puffy doughnut form filled with cream cheese and either bacon or salmon. As you take a bite you are instantly hit with the "everything" topping and the savoriness of the cream cheese filling. Its the perfect grab and go meal. For drink selections they serve Thai tea and Vietnamese coffee in addition to hot and iced coffee. It is a little on the pricey side but I think its worth every penny. They also have a rewards system which should encourage you to visit as much as possible to enjoy their offerings!

Im just confused how there could possibly be any one-star reviews for this place. I lived in the midwest for several years, a donut haven of sorts, and these donuts rival the best I ever had there. All the ingredients are clearly very high quality, flavors are true to form and excellent in the fillings, and the donuts are decadent and delicious. Personally, Ive really enjoyed some of the specialty donuts, but classics like cinnamon sugar, lemon curd, and vanilla filled just really hit the spot for me. Be sure to get there on the early side, they seem to often sell out before lunch and may run out of the flavor you want! You might expect to stand in line for a bit too, so probably not the best place if youre in a big rush to get to work. Also, you may not want to take these to the office because then youll have to share them ;)

These doughnuts are absolutely delicious. They are the "puff" style rather than what you typically see at Dunkin Donuts. There is a variety of glazed and filled, even with some savory (e.g. bacon and chive). I personally dont care for the savory flavors but thats just me. My biggest issue is the price: a standard glazed donut is $2.50, and it goes up from there for speciality or filled types. Combined with the typical line out the door, its something we only treat ourselves to <1 a month. The interior of the shop is also pretty small so youll often be waiting outside...just make sure you check the forecast beforehand.

B Doughnut produces some of the best doughnuts I have ever tasted. This tiny shop inside a Hampden rowhouse makes fresh crème-stuffed doughnuts daily and sells them until they run out, which is sometimes shortly after they open (so get there early!). Unlike doughnuts sold at chain doughnut shops, these pastries will fill you up substantially for the morning. While there is little sitting room inside, you can take a doughnut to go with you as you wander past the charming shops and cafes of The Avenue in Hampden, content in knowing that you made one of the best breakfast decisions in the city of Baltimore.

Set my alarm, got up early on my day off, waited in line, and was only allowed half a dozen. Not worth it. I just wanted a dozen to share with my employees and was willing to pay the $30 to make the sale. Why turn down guaranteed profit now? I did what It took to get there early enough to be able to get them. Its not like Im asking for some crazy large order...what doughnut shop wont sell you a dozen? I love the product, but I personally dont go to such lengths to go out of my way for just a doughnut or a few. I dont think a dozen is too much to ask for.

The donuts here are some of the best I have had. So far, I have only tried the green tea and strawberry donuts. They were sold out when I arrived at 11am on a Sunday, and they said they would have more coming out in 30 min. It was worth the wait. I would suggest getting there early, because they sell out fast. The dough is soft and and buttery, it almost melts in your mouth. The icing is just the right amount of sweetness, and its not smothered with icing. I will definitely be coming back here when I am in the area.

I bought six (6) and that was a mistake because I ate all six. Lucky I didnt buy 12. Yeah, theyre that good. They open at 09:00; the line outside begins forming at 08:00.. My visit was in late January 2017; the line was a half block long by 09:00. I didnt try a beverage. I live close by and have an illy espresso machine. $17 for six (6) doughnuts and personally, I feel the price and wait are righteous and justifiable. Five (5) Stars & two (2) thumbs-up from the Gooch (Guccione).

Very different from Devil, Duck or any of those other places. The donuts are light, not cloyingly sweet and so dang fresh! When the nitro coffee is available, its a perfect combination. Check their Instagram feed before heading over there as they sell out quick. I have been there for when they open at 730am and the line is already 4-5 deep. And make sure you try to get there early on the weekends before the doughssants sell out. They are the first to go!

Had their doughnuts at a pop up they had in DC for a while. Believe the hype people. They are my second favorite doughnut joint in the world. They beat out Blue Moon doughnuts in Portland and came really close to General Porpoise in Seattle. Sweet or savory the doughnuts here are all awesome. Run, dont walk. The sooner you get in line the sooner you can get your tasty treat. Youll be so happy you did.

Great tasting doughnuts. Daughter and I waited about 20 minutes in line outside. Inside cozy, not cramped. The vanilla was great. Coffee doughnut mediocre. If you try the bacon/cream cheese or other "everything bagel" doughnut suggest you eat it first ... like an entree. Took a couple of small bites to adjust to the taste not being "sweet". Online orders accepted a day before you pick up.

Love love love B Doughnut! The line out the door is definitely worth the wait. I would eat these any day over Duck Donuts. My favorite is the berry filled one! But you really cant go wrong with any of them. You can taste the quality ingredients in every scrumptious bite you take. The owners are also very nice and very involved with the community.
