I like this place. Riverdale Plaza in general is a bit run-down and this store is no exception but Im usually pretty happy when I shop here. Pretty decent selection of fabrics (I usually shop for fleece) and while they only have 2 registers, its usually not that busy in there unless its a big sale or something. Longest I waited in line was like 10 minutes and that was on Black Friday so I was still pretty impressed.

Have been a customer for many years. usually visiting at least one per week. This week I was in twice, both times had to wait a long time at check out because no one was available. One hour ago I was there and a person came from the back room, walked all the way to the cutting area and returned to the back without a word. HOW IMPOLITE. Guess Ill be going to Michaels around the corner.

The best Jo-Anns in the Hampton Roads area. The staff here are some of the nicest and most helpful Ive ever encountered in any store. They are consistently nice and extremely helpful with any questions or concerns. The store often has great sales and specials, which can be combined with coupons from their website for excellent deals, too!

On the smaller side ... But still had a decent selection of popular items. Great if youre stopping to pick up general crafting materials or browsing for a project without specific needs ... But if you want variety and special items, better off finding a larger store.

Do not waste your time. This place only has two registers, both incredibly slow, and never staffed appropriately. I have never waited in line less than 20 minutes! Make the trip up 31/Meridian up to Hobby Lobby and shop in peace!
