Newport News Micheals very rude and unprofessional. I had 3 items to be rung up and went to register 9. I was the next and last person in line. After the cashier (Jesse) rang up the person before me, and instead of ringing my 3 items he turned off his light, looked at me, gave me a smirk and told me that I needed to go to the other register and left. He didnt give me any warning that he was going to close his register. He told me after he was done with the person before me. I ended up at another register just to wait another 10 mins. I thought the rule was to ring everyone before closing your register. Not worth my time going to that Micheals or any other Micheals.

This Michaels is the best one in the area. It has a large selection, way better than the one in Williamsburg. I was able to find what I needed here where I couldnt there. Its large, spacious and the staff are friendly. A little too friendly, maybe. The cashier in my lane took a very long time conversing with the customer ahead of me. I was in a rush so didnt really appreciate that, but am not docking points for it as some people prefer that. Just beware if you need to get in and out quickly. She was nice and thorough, but if you dont like small talk it might not be your thing.

This Michaels store suffers from poor service and an ill educated staff that dont know what the store sells, special promotions and offers or what day of the week it is. They do not understand their own busy seasons and when to stock up on merchandise. Poor managment leads to poor customer service but they get away with it because they are the only craft store in the area. When possible, I choose JoAnns over this store but there are clear differences in what they stock so Michaels is lucky they have a better national selection.

Michaels is an awesome store that offers so much. You walk in only to grab a few things but end up walking out the store with a careful of crafts. Their season products are always in stock and available. Along with that is their discounts which are often 20-40% making crafting an inexpensive hobby. The staff is always helpful even with the limited amount in the store.

I love this Michaels. I go to buy mostly yarn and they always have a great selection in stock. It is clean and the aisles arent cluttered. The staff is very nice and helpful. The best thing about Michaels in general is that they always have coupons!! So I save every time I go. Five stars!

This Michaels location is always well stocked and has everything you would expect from your local Michaels craft store. If you forget a coupon or lose one, the checkout folks will usually scan one that they keep up at the register.

We usually eat at the Williamsburg location. Ketchup packets were covered with goo and sticky. No sauce on the bacon ranch wrap which was extremely disappointing. Staff wasnt as friendly as the Williamsburg location.

Good picture framing service but only go when theyre having a sale on frames, which I believe they do regularly every 2 weeks. Just ask when the next sale will be.
