WORST EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFE THAT KEEPS HAUNTING ME. First off I am not here to bash the GM, Dustin, he is a genuine great guy. But I wish I would have never dealt with this dealership. I am now without a vehicle, credit is ruined (dreams of being a fighter pilot are ruined), and will never be able to trust a dealership or get rid of the scar from being stabbed in the back. NEVER EVER TRUST THIS DEALERSHIP. I realized that I wouldnt be able to afford the camaro and so Dustin and I made an agreement for the dealership to do a buy back. I go to the dealership and supposedly cancel the warranties (sign the paperwork to cancel them) even tho I am still getting emails about the warranties and what not. So I go and park the camaro on the lot and notify the dealership so that there arent any more miles put on the camaro. And all we are waiting for is my credit card to get here in the mail to finish the deal. Well heres the worst part about it. MY GRANDPA (that practically raised me and was my best friend) DIES AND I HAVE TO GO HOME ON EMERGENCY LEAVE AND THE DEALERSHIP TAKES ADVANTAGE OF MY GRANDFATHERS DEATH AND HAS THE BANK COME REPO IT, AND I WASNT NOTIFIED UNTIL I GOT BACK FROM LEAVE JUST BEFORE CHRISTMAS. WORST EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFE. IF YOU HAVE A NICE VEHICLE OR DIESEL NEVER COME HERE TO TRADE IT IN!! I had an amazing 03 Ford Excursion that was lifted 6 inches and was in amazing shape with super low miles. They wouldnt give me more than 11k for and sold it within 2 days so I could never get it back after realizing how wrong I was done, all while being highly pressured to trade it in. IF YOU DONT HAVE TIME TO CONSTANTLY COME BACK IN TO SIGN THING DONT GO HERE. Cant tell you how many times I had to come back here to resign papers. NEVER, EVER, EVER USE ONE OF THEIR BANKS IF YOU CAN USE YOUR OWN. I HAD PERFECT CREDIT BEFORE COMING HERE. I was pre approved for a loan from Navy Federal and was urged not to use them and just come back to use Bayport. So I did because I was so tired of spending all my time at the dealership, HUGE MISTAKE. I had the dealership set up auto pay which they FAILED to do, screwing me over. Since the DEALERSHIP LIED TO ME SAYING THEY SAT UP AUTO PAY AND DIDNT a month of payments go by and werent taken out of my account, thought it was strange but maybe I got an extra month of no payments. WRONG! It wasnt long before I found out that the dealership failed me again due to BAYPORT hassling me. So in short if you dont want to go from an extremely happy and friendly guy to super depressed and suicidal due to your perfect credit and dreams being ruined DO NOT STEP FOOT HERE!!! Id delete all reviews if the dealership actually cared and tried to fix things but they dont care and havent for the past year. Id give anything to be in that camaro or Excursion again. Im just one life they ruined, just like youre potentially one life they can ruin and it wouldnt affect them so they could care less.

Buying a new vehicle can be stressful. Trying to compare options within the dealership and also with other dealerships is like comparing apples and oranges. ML Jackson & Robbie Beacham made this process very easy. After buying our new Suburban, ML sat in it with us and went over all the bells and whistles. It felt like he was an old friend by the time we were finished! The extended warranty sales people slightly soured an otherwise great experience, however we realize that all dealerships are this way and they were just doing their job. We will definitely recommend Hampton Chevrolet, Robbie Beacham and ML Jackson to our friends and family...we already have! UPDATE: 3/7/17 Long story short, we bought a brand new 2016 Suburban in December. Two months later, after hand washing and drying it, we discovered a place on the front passenger door that looked like body work had been done. After taking it to the dealership, they admitted that our vehicle was one of several to be vandalized in the lot prior to us buying it. This was not disclosed to us prior to our purchase, which we were later told, that by law, they didnt have to. They promised to repair it, with a lifetime warranty. We wanted to trade in for a brand new, uncompromised Suburban, but after talking with a salesman, were told it would cost us over $10K to trade for the exact same vehicle, ours being just two months old. We reluctantly agreed to let their collision dept repair the door (for the second time). The door is better than it was, but the damaged spot is still very noticeable. We are not happy, to say the least. We feel very betrayed to have been sold a damaged vehicle as brand new, law or no law. The dealership may, by law, not have had to disclose that information, but they really shouldve made sure that it was a perfect repair and that the buyer would never know. It was far from perfect and is still not after two repairs. We would like to speak with someone with some authority to do something about this, beyond just fixing this for the 3rd time. Vandals came into YOUR yard and damaged YOUR vehicle. They didnt come to our house and do this. Own up to it as your loss and stop trying to pawn it off as someone elses problem. I dare say that any employee at GM or Hampton Chevy would willingly buy a brand new $63K Suburban with body damage on it!

Spoke with Steve, Service Manager on 10/28/2016 at I have no headlights on Friday but you want me to bring my car in for service on Tuesday, really. I am extremely frustrated and perturbed. I went in to get a recall done. Later when I looked at the receipt it had two issues on it. Why wasn’t I told about this. Isn’t this what a service department if for to resolve mechanical issues. I called back and she says The BCM has a spliced wire, probably from a radio or something. But it is not something that need to be fixed. So I have just found the car fax report after searching for a week and its says that Hampton Chevrolet installed the radio in March 20, 2015 according to Car fax. How can I get recommended service done if service department can’t be trusted to perform job correctly or the dealership won’t take responsibility for jacked up repairs? Why was the car even sold if the recall wasn’t fixed, that could have saved me some time? I made an appointment for 9am in the morning, then when I get there she tells me I can leave or my car may not be worked on until later in day, but if I stay then it would an hour in a half. Why did I need to be held hostage? What difference does it make if I go shopping for an hour and a half at Walmart. Most unhappiest, stonefaced service department I have ever experienced. There is a problem with a vehicle made by General Motors. I feel it is a defect or bad workmanship. I feel the organization should take ownership and responsibility. *I have no headlights; this car was purchased for the sole purpose of driving for Uber I can’t make money I can’t drive in rain I can’t drive during peak early morning or late nights I can’t leave the house after dark. So what am I a hostage. -When you first cut the car on the radio is dark, it won’t light up unless you turn off the automatic headlights -flickering lights on inside -ac/heat pressure fluctuate when rolling up windows -right headlight replaced twice, now left one is out -brake lights have been replaced at least 6 times -I received a ticket recently for improper equipment, I had to take off and drive all the way to Tappahannock, VA for court -I was stopped for driving with high beams I am so disgusted with Hampton Chevrolet.
