I have to say that I felt the least welcomed of any shop I have ever stopped in to purchase cigars. I am a female cigar smoker and really enjoy the company of other smokers and owners. I was not greeted when I entered I had to find my way around the two musty mildewed and mold infested humidors. I even tried to engage in conversation but i assume that because I happened to be female or possibly they just have no clue what customer service was it was a problem to speak and cash me out. I interuppted their sitting session. I dont mind spending money for quality service and cigars. This time I was desperate for a few cigars for the night so against my better judgement I spent approximately 40.00 for the worst shopping and smoking experience I have ever had. I was chastised because The customer is expected to write down the price on a pad and bring to the register, had I not needed them I would have told them to shove them up their rude @$$es. I have warned several friends who frequent the area to not bother and shop elsewhere!

I would strongly disagree with the previous review. I have always found the shop to be wonderful. Yes, it is very laid back and relaxed but thats the kind of shop I look for. I have never had a problem receiving help there, unlike other shops that stand over top of you like a used car salesman. The guys working at the shop know blends, not only on cigars but pipe tobaccos as well. I did not have to write down any prices of my cigars, the employee knew them when he saw what I was smoking. There seemed to be quite the group there that seemed at home and were very friendly and welcoming me as I sat in the back and watched tv with them. There was also seating in front of the shop to people watch. More than what I expected from a quaint little shop. I have been back there many times. Plus, there was never any musty or mildewed humidors, and there are approximately 10 humidors.

I am a frequent customer of OTT. They have a nice selection of cigars. They carry Rocky Patel, La Flor, Oliva, Camacho, La Aurora, Perdomo, Punch, La Gloria, Paratagas, Cortez, Hoye de Monerey, Ashton, My Father, Feunte and many more. My favorite is the La Flor Dominicana DL-700. They also have events at the shop with the cigar companies. I have met Litto Gomez (the owner of La Flor) at the shop at a few events. He recently released a new cigar at one of the events, The Digger. The Digger is named after one of the shops most loyal customers, Digger. If you stop by the shop pretty much any day of the week you can meet Digger for yourself, he's the big pirate looking fellow. All of the frequent customers are very friendly and are welcoming to any new customers.

Ive been there three times, and never again. The first time (as a first time pipe smoker) the help was both condescending and rude. An older white guy with a chain wallet who acted as if I dare interrupt his staring out into space. The second time was with a different employee (two actually) who were both friendly and helpful, and willing to take the time to discuss tobacco, pipes, etc. The third and final time was with chain wallet dude who was downright belligerent. Rest assured I will go to Stafford or mail order before shopping there again. They probably dont need my money, but I sure as hell dont need their tobacco.

I am a frequent customer of Olde Towne Tobacconist. It is a quaint little shop set up with several large cabinet style humidors. The stock is abundant and ever changing with a lot of brands and blends I have rarely seen. The guys working there are extremely helpful and knowledgable. Though shop has, at first glance, a rough edge, it feels like home especially when all the guys of EVERY race are in the back shooting the breeze. As long as you actually pay for your cigars, and dont make bold accusations of calling the management liars and thieves, its a fantastic little hangout spot with great cigars. I highly recommend!

Dropped in to buy a flask - great selection of products, decent prices. The guy accidentally quoted the wrong price over the phone and owned up to it, selling the product for a few bucks less because he misread the label. Incredibly friendly, great people - and the flask is awesome too.

This place is average. If youre going here to hang out and smoke its not great but if its grab and go its fine. If youre walking distance its worth a couple minute walk but if youre driving there a couple competitors around that offer similar prices and a better atmosphere.
