Im not really sure I agree with Jorge and Vic below so I thought Id offer up a more realistic review of the Cigar Town chain. This chain is pretty much subpar. They cant compete with the Old VAs and the Burkes. The shop in Fairfax Circle is a little better than the RTC location but not by much. The staff is pleasant however they know very little about the actual industry so be wary of their suggestions. The shop is in prime real estate so that must affect their pricing so be prepared to pay 10% - 15% more here then at Old VA or Burke. The only upside to this shop is that its close to my office and I can get there in a pinch otherwise I wouldnt bother.

I have only visited this shop once. And that was one too many times. The staff are poorly trained,rude,and have the cigar knowledge of a Turnip. I have NO clue how they have managed to stay in business for any length of time espicially in this economy. The prices are at least 25% over what you would pay in any other local shop.The humidification system is poorly maintained and has a moldy smell. All in all I am saying. Give this dump a wide berth. I wouldnt but a Philly from these idiots. M.P.M. Herndon Va

First and last time in that place, the counter guy is not a people person to say the least. Just wanted to give them a shot before judging based on everyone elses bad reviews towards the shop, but in this case the reviews didnt lie! He asked if i needed a cut, which I did. He then goes to cut my cigar with the wrapper on and breaks the shoulder! Thanks

I just moved to this area and have been looking for a good cigar shop. Im happy to say that Ive found it here... The people here are extremely friendly (which is refreshing) and knowledgeable. The vast selection doesnt hurt either! Im definitely recommending this place to co-workers and all my cigar buddies. Keep up the good work guys!

This shop is one of several owned by the same company. The staff are knowledgeable, the selection is excellent (with several high end cigars) and the price is good.
