Let me start off by saying that within the past months, sense last summer, I have received alright service. I have even bought two pipes (syn and custom bubbler) plus tons accessories. So im an avid customer and usually spend money when I do come. That being said almost every past experience before recently I have had going to your store wasnt what I expected from a counter culture glass pipe and clothing store. In fact my usual trips down there resulted in me looking at another head shop in Richmond, or ordering online. I can understand the fact that it is a counter culture store, where the underlying theme let it be wanted or unwanted is paraphernalia and you probably get a lot of people just walk in walk out and isnt till the 10th time till someone buys. Which might be why I have to show some money before I get any real assistance rather than having both the sale associates behind the counter just staring at me. That and when I come in you guys stare down my girlfriends shirt. Which bothers me a lil, but I tend to do it now and then so I understand the compelling nature of it. Please dont take this as all hate, cause kulture, I do have some love you. I just dont feel like its coming back to me when I go there.

Awful return policy. I had bought a scale from them (for mail use) and when I get home to weigh my product the scale was broken. I calibrated it with a 50 gram weight and the scale was 10 grams off. I brought it back and showed them this. They looked at it and seen some tiny leafs on it, tiny like the leafs were in the tiny openings of the scale. They immediately said "oh we cant take it back it has contraband on it. Legally we shouldnt have that in here". I put the 50 gram weight on there and when they saw it was 10 grams off they said "oh, well we can sell you a scale for 10 % off. Do not buy your scales from here your better off going to the fan and getting it from an Indian guy.

They are far more than your average “headshop”. A clothing boutique and the exclusive retailer of the Run RVA clothesline, they cultivate an image of clean glass and hip-hop sensibility, and some of the rarest waterpipes in the country come through these doors. Their 10th anniversary was October 14th, 2009, so keep a droopy eye out for sales and celebrations, which, knowing these guys, are still going on. Just don’t call it a “B---”.

The guys over at Kulture VA are great. I live out of state and could not of had an easier transaction. I called several months ago looking for high end glass(Mothership) and got on their waiting list and never expected to hear back. Well last week I got a call since I was first on their list and wound up getting 2 amazing pieces. I believe I dealt with Garret from start to finish, got some deals on accessories, had the pieces packed bomb proof and shipped out the next day. Perfect transaction from start to finish without me ever setting foot in their shop. Highly recommended!!!

The staff are incredibly friendly and knowledgeable! I wont shop anywhere else after the great experience I had today. Also, I hadnt been to this location in a long time and was pleasantly surprised to see that they blow glass on location! It was so cool I could stay and watch all afternoon.

Love the shop! If your a student looking for more selection and quality Kulture has it. Katra Gala and Happy Corner are lacking... Treat them with respect and they will hook it up even with a student discount w/ ID. Best in the area! they lift my spirit
