(8 AUG 2014) Found this store to be quite pleasant. Friendly staff and lots of stuff on sale - which is always nice when youre balling on a budget. I have family visiting and needed to really step up my "best uncle sean ever" game to win over two 3-year-olds and a 7-year-old. AC Moore employee Lauren was very friendly, helpful, and had great suggestions for my endeavour - acrylic painting supplies, sticker coloring books, and t-shirt tye dye supplies. Cashier Manik was equally friendly and pleasant. Additionally, I was surprised/pleased to learn AC Moore gives military a 15% discount all day everyday on everything - to include sale items. My receipt also came with a 40% off a single item coupon for my next visit. Smart marketing move, because I almost never shop at craft stores - but after this shopping experience, I feel I might patronize this store more.

Rating is for the framing shop only. Today I was there trying to get a mat/custom frame for a drawing. The clerk (female) was obviously not interested in helping. In the middle of helping me, a customer came up and asked a question. She handed me the drawing and walked off with them. Then had to go all over the store to get what they needed. After a few minutes, I found her w/them & asked if someone else could maybe help finish helping me. She told me shed be back in a minute. Then she continued to roam around all over the rest of the store for the other customer. Im now at Michaels down the road doing the rest of my shopping and framing.

Lies..it seems not only employees but managment is trained and makes sure employees lie as well. the worst customer service... Stay away... Michaels at least is managed by decent human being that know what customer services allowing customers to know the truth about the status of theri items... the nastiest store i have ever been too...Falls church!! prepare to be lied to and treated like garbage
