Im a frequent BUYER at this location, every other evening for the last 6 months I have visited and purchased beading supplies from this location. On yesterday, April 26, 2015, I stopped in what use to be my favorite store to purchase more beads and as I was standing in line behind these two little girls that were purchasing items while awaiting my turn, I noticed that the cashier asked them if they wanted a bag at the end of their transaction, they replied yes and she gave them a bag free of charge as you are aware that in Montgomery County there is a fee for bags.....I paid for my items and the cashier gave me my gave my receipt and attempted to wait on the customer behind me, I said excuse me may I have a bag please, she said yes it will be 5 cents, I have no problem with paying for the bag.. My issue is that she never asked me if I wanted a bag and then when I asked for one she quoted me a bag fee.... I reminded her that she asked the young ladies before me and she gave them a bag free of charge. She look stunned!!!!! YES, I expect to be treated equally. GO FIGURE!

I love this store for all the positive reasons listed by other satisfied customers, but also because of the "points" from shopping which has given me well over $100 back in "checks!" I feel very good about buying childrens gifts from the wooden Melissa and Doug toy line, as well. I am always treated in a very, very friendly manner by the managers and all the associates. In fact, for having been a very regular customer for over 2 decades (Yes, its true, my house attic and basement are "mini-AC Moores.), I feel like "one of the family", when I go there. I still go to Michaels, but "no where near" as often as I go to AC Moore. I also love the fact that I can use coupons from my Smart Phone and that both Michaels and AC Moore accepts each others coupons. Happy Crafting/Painting/Baking, etc. everyone!!

I am very suspicious of AC Moores perpetual sale. According to the Federal Trade Commission, a perpetual sale is a sham. When I asked what the original cost of framing an 9x9 piece of art would cost without the discount, I was given a figure of over $400.00, which is preposterous. It amounts to a psychological manipulation of the consumer thinking s/he has received a significant discount, when no piece of art I have ever framed costs that much.

I LOVE this AC Moore. It is always a pleasant experience and I always find great supplies for my projects. The store is clean and the staff is kind and courteous. It is all hands on deck during busy times and the staff is helpful in finding the supplies you need or doing a price check. IT is a large store space and well organized so you can spend a good amount of time looking for what you need.

Love shopping at AC Moore. The store in Rockville is neat and clean. Staff are respectful and helpful. There is a great array of craft supplies. Their coupon program is definitely an incentive to shop. There is ample parking. Check out is relatively fast. Price wise, unless you have a coupon, they may be a little more expensive than Michaels. This is a good store to get your art supplies. I was looking for some art material for a friend and I was able to get almost everything at this store. The organization is slightly different if you are used to Michaels, etc. but the store is clean and organized. The staff was quick to help out and guide me to the correct aisle :)
