Fool me once, shame on you, fool me twice, you know the rest. DO NOT, under any circumstance trust this location of Michaels for your framing needs! Ive used this location twice in the last several months and in both occasions Ive been burned. In the first instance, the framing order wound up being a month late due to the shop discovering late in the process that the frame they needed was out of stock. No biggie, right, these things happen..... In the second and most recent occasion, Im left feeling angry. I placed what should have been a simple order for a matte to fit an existing frame. My wife (with baby in tow) went to the location to pick up the order a few weeks after the promised date. She waited twenty minutes while they rummaged in the back looking for the order. They eventually emerge and told her that the order had never been placed and that it would be expedited. I get a follow up call from the Manager Khalid a week later asking me about the details of the order. When I explain our recent troubles with this location, he agrees that its not acceptable and says ALL charges will be comped by them and that the order should be ready in the next week. Fast forward another week, Khalid calls and says the matte is ready and again says the order will be comped. You know where this is going, huh? My wife goes in to pick up the matte today and the staff argues with her that it wont be comped. They call Khalid whos off and he says that he agreed to comp the expedited shipping (ha), not the cost of the matte (which is now a month and a half late due to their mistake). You have to be kidding me!! This is the worst customer service Ive experienced since living in NoVA 10 years now. Avoid, avoid, avoid. FYI: Ive used the Michaels location at Seven Corners many times in the past and have always been pleased. While its a longer drive, Ill be going there in the future for our framing needs.

If I could give this store a negative rating I would. First inkling that there was a major problem was when the manager passed 5+ people in the framing department with no hint of a "can I help you" and then proceeded to ignore the one individual who did ask for assistance while they finished a conversation on their headset (no acknowledgment of their existence even). The cashiers were sullen and showed no sense of urgency even though there were 12+ people in line growing increasingly frustrated (Im sure reflecting the managers attitudes), and they were not honoring corporate coupons for "Regular and Sale Items" on their sale merchandise because they called it "Clearance" instead (they were clearly sale items per the national ads). Needless to say, I will never be shopping there again, and I will actively tell friends and family to go to competitors, of which, thankfully, there are many in the area.

I registered here for a cake decorating course. Reached on time on the first day of class to find out that the instructor has completely cancelled the course because there werent enough students. No one bothered to call and inform this to me. The manager says that its my fault for registering online (thus im not in their record books) I should have done through the cash register!!! I was told that the instructor will contact me its been 4 days and I havent heard from her. Never going back there.

I went into this location over a week ago and i was looking for a letter M in the wood section. They didnt have one and they told me they would have them in monday. Went back monday, they didnt have them. Went back today which is friday and they still dont have them then the lady working there told me it would be in, in 4 weeks. Thats completely rediculous. Not to mention they only had 1 cashier on and one person on the floor, thats it! I hate this location its terrible.

I go to this Michaels all the time and I have never had an issue. Cashiers are friendly and quick, and they always call for backup when a line of 5+ people starts to build. My only possible complaint would be that no one greets you or asks if you need help while youre browsing, but they are very helpful and strive to find the answer when you take the initiative.

We could not have had a better experience. I was with my elderly mother looking for flowers for my fathers grave. We were greeted by the first employee we encountered and when she couldnt help us she found an asst manager who could. They didnt have the type of arrangement we needed in stock so he made one by hand and charged us half what he could have.

My favorite location! Is not as crowded as the one in Springfield, and they still have a variety of selection. Like Michaels in general, have taken their baking classes also, not the best, but i learned something new!

Messy but well-stocked location. Good parking; can find amazing clearance deals at the back of the store. Not the best-run, but its a Michaels and that means quality and consistency of product.

the store is decent. but the check out lines are always long. usually only 1 line open. occasionally the manger will check people out. but hes rude and likes to rush people.

I like this Michaels over others in the area. Its less congested and not as messy. Wait for your item to go on sale or use your phone to get a 40% off coupon.
