Went to Sears during lunch just to browse after eating lunch. I walked around their electronics section and saw a 80" Sharp TV for $1285, normally over $3k, great deal!. I asked the sales person how long the sale would go for and was told at least through the weekend and he said they had a few in stock. I asked about shipping and they said $69 for anywhere in the US because they can ship one out of their distribution centers. I took a picture of the tag and sent it to a friend who said he wanted one. I went back that day after work and asked a different sales person about the TV. He confirmed 5 in stock and $69 shipping anywhere in the US. I went over to the display and the price went up to $2k. I asked the sales person what happened and he said the price must have been an error and they changed it, sorry, cant honor the price that I saw at lunch. I asked to see a manager. The manger said that the sale only lasted a day, not through the weekend like the sales person said. I reminded him that the price was up TODAY. He asked for proof even though two of the sales people remembered me and the price. I showed him a picture of the time stamp and he said he would honor the price and left. I told the sales person I wanted to buy two and have one shipped to TX. The sales person said he needed to confirm that he could do that and came back after speaking with the manger and told me they only had 1 left in a box. So magically, 4 TVs disappeared after they realized there was a pricing problem. I said fine and bought one TV and had it shipped to TX for $69. After leaving, I get a phone call from the sales person who casually said that the the shipping company would not ship a clearance item across state lines and asked for an address in VA to ship to. No apology, as if shipping to VA is the same as shipping to TX where the TV is supposed to go. I went back to Sears to clarify the shipping issue because it seemed strange that a shipping company cared if an item was on clearance or whether it crossed state lines. The sales person maintained that the shipping company would not allow it, but when pressed further admitted that Sears would not allow it. I said fine and had the $69 refunded and arranged a trucking company to ship it for $350. When I went back to the store to the following week to clarify how the trucking company was to pick up the TV, I saw the display had been sold. I mentioned to the sales person that they sold the display and the sales person said yeah they sold a few this week!!! So they essentially LIED to me that they only had 1!!! Well done Sears. Youre doing everything right to maintain a clear path to bankruptcy.

I just had the worst experience ever! I am so disappointed! It took me a month to have the time to do shopping for a garage door opener, finally I met with Grant as I remember his name a very nice sales person at Sears Fairoaks mall, it was a very easy and smooth transaction, he offered the service to install it so I paid for that $125. They contacted me on Wednesday to tell me that they will come to my place on Friday between 12 and 6 and they cannot be more specific with their time frame, and that they will contact me a day before to confirm it. They called me on Thursday morning to tell me that they will come on Friday between 8,12 and they cannot be more specific and I will be the first visit, then they called me in the afternoon same day to tell me that they scheduled me for the afternoon time frame 12-6 and they will call me before. I took a day off, I made a phone call at 8:30 am to make sure they are coming on time, they said it will be between 1-4 and that they will call me 45 min before. At 11am I received a phone call from the technician, he asked me if they can come after 25min!! I was an hour and a half away from home, I told him the earliest I can make it is 12:30 and I was scheduled for 1-4 , he said “then that is fine keep it as is we will come on time”. At 3:30 I made a phone call to see what is going on because I didn’t receive a phone call from them, (off course every time a different person answers the call), they said that they will come to me after the customer that they are serving at the time and that they will call me once they finish. At 5:15pm I made another phone call, they said they will come to me to do the job today, and do not worry. I made my 5th call at 6pm they told me that a Manger will call me within 10 min. At 6:45 a customer service supervisor called me to apologize that they couldn’t find a manger to contact me, and that it is late now and they want to re-schedule!! Really!! I TOOK THE DAY OFF!! Unacceptable, I will return the product once I can and I will go to Home Depot or Lowes …

I will never go back to this location for any work on my car. Bought tires and 3-year alignment in August. On a recent regular oil change, asked them to rotate tires and check alignment. After work was performed, car pulled to the left so much that I had to over-steer to the right in order to drive. Took car back and they said that the alignment was perfect. Problem persisted, so I took car back and asked them to trouble-shoot, including re-rotate tires, re-check alignment and check tire pressure. The person at the counter told me they would not re-rotate the tires. I asked him why and he said "because we dont want to wear out your lugnuts." Seriously, he actually said those words. I told him my car has 250,000+ miles, and one extra rotation wont make a difference. Furthermore, I reminded him that I have brand new tires that are taking a beating with a car that appears out of alignment. He still insisted they would not re-rotate the tires, since it was just done. I asked for my keys back and I left. I drove directly to Winchester, Virginia Sears Auto Center and told them my problem. They OFFERED to (1) test drive my car, (2) re-rotate the tires, (3) re-test drive the car, (4) check alignment. In less than an hours time they determined my car was SERIOUSLY out of alignment, fixed it and my car drives perfectly. I will NEVER again trust Sears Auto Center in Fairfax with my car repairs.

I bought 4 tires from them and wanted to do an alignment. Costumer Service was very nice. Everything went well, until i came back to get my car. At first i saw technician speeding on the parking lot in my car. I could definitely hear it because my car is modified. When you hear exhaust loud as well as turbo spool "whoosh" sound you know he is pulling above 3K RPM. Technician came back and told me that one stud was messed up and he could not put the lug nut on. I was already upset about it, and definitely thought he did it, but i did not say anything. When i went to fix it my mechanic found two other studs broken on the back wheel. Besides that 3 of my spear lug nuts that where brand new in the box together with keylock where messed up too. At the end of the day i had to get 3 new Studs installed. I went back to them and asked to pay for the labor and parts, which they did. But the amount of time i spend doing all of that cant be replaced, because of poor technician skills. I hope the tires i got from them installed the right way....
