Trying to cheat me and wasted my valuable time of 5 hours. I spoke the great sales representative Guy Hines. My story# my own car met with an accident not my fault and the other car insurance settled it as total loss and I am in hunt to find a new car by using the rental car provided by the insurance and I told the representative that Saturday(Jan-21) was the last day for my rental and i am looking for a great deal# He knows the entire story and he knows how important for me to get a car. I offerd my price to him he tried to show me that my offer is very less then I changed my offer to reach almost 2k more when compared to initial offer. Yet he and his manager told me directly that they cant deal with that offer and they made a final offer. Fine I said and asked them that is the least they give, they said that is the least they give. I went home, assuming that I might be asking for too low price and felt bad that I wasted my precious 5 hours. Then in the evening the **Honda** called me three times with a offer by that time I made a deal already did not picked the call. I just sent a mess to the sales rep that I already got a deal. Then again they call me next day saying they have a deal on the car. First thing first: They are trying to cheat me. They wasted 5 hours of my time. Before leaving the Honda I asked them is that the best deal they can offer they said that is the best. They know my time is valuable so they are trying to Milk the customer as much as possible. They have no respect on the customer valuable time.->this made me angry. Suggestion to the people who goes there: you stick with your price and leave the showroom, they will call you for sure. They are cheaters trying to Milk you as much as possible. They dont respect your time. I have all MAIL proofs of what I am saying including the call history and voice mails. If some manager reply back to this thread that I am a cheater I am going to post all the email in google itself.

TLDR : Ive purchased a car from a different dealership before and also have a family member purchasing one now from yet another one and Ive never experienced poor customer service like this. Even if I were to recommend Honda, I cannot recommend the dealership, based on my experience. I purchased a new car from Chantilly Honda in April of 2017. Considering I walked in knowing exactly the car I wanted, had the funds, and excellent finances ready to go, this was a sale handed to the rep. I went in at 7pm and the process went past their closing time. When I got the car at night, it was not clear how well it had been cleaned. I saw that the gas tank was less than a quarter and the gas light came on (15 min drive home). The car was also poorly cleaned with grime and smudges all over the door areas and scuffing that could have been easily buffed out. Even more disappointing, was that the rep who took the sale, was in such a rush to leave, that he drove out right after handing me the keys. Then, I was contacted by the finance manager who told me I needed to provide outstanding paperwork regarding a promo I had received (3 days after I bought and drove the car off the lot). I was dumbfounded by the call and asked why this wasnt told to me by the rep (who I had called and asked in advance) or at the time of financing. I was told that if I did not submit this paperwork, that my financing would not go through. I scrambled to get the paperwork and was told to contact the finance director who never ended up forwarding the paperwork to the finance manager. I had to email and follow up over a week later only to be told that he received nothing. I had to resend the information again and then follow up to ensure everything was complete. They also overcharged me for processing of tags so I received an unexpected credit a month later.

So i woke up with a flat tire today. I was unable to find my wheel lock lug nut wrench adapter, so i was unable to switch my tire out without doing some hammering and damage to the nut, which i was hesitant to do. Anyways, was unable to put my spare on. I live literally less than a quarter mile from a gas station which has air compresses, so i decided it was worth the risk (and the money) to drive up there and try to fill it up with air and put a new valve cap on the sucker, (which is what i suspected the air was leaking from in the first place.) So I drove it there with my blinkers on slowly and filled that tire up, slapped a new cap on the fill valve and -- ... it held. SO, my next decision was to drive it up to the dealership to explain the situation and see what could be done to fix it. I pulled up to the Chantilly VA Honda Dealership and this nice gent came out with a ticket for service. I explained the situation to him and he said that he most likely knew the issue and could fix it on the spot, no charge. I was gobsmacked. All the research i did, and he just needs a small tool for this? okay... So he comes back out in a minute and has a valve stem adjuster wrench screwdriver thing, he twists its a couple time s to the right and the leak is gone. I was sooo happy. No charge, simple fix. These guys are on their game, five freaking stars straight up. They know their stuff and are more than helpful to get you back on the road. I know to most mechanics im an idiot, but im not a mechanic, and these guys did not take advantage of me for that, and thats why they get this review.

After purchasing my brand new Accord from this dealership less than three years ago and taking it exclusively to this service center ever since then I can without hesitation that this has been the worst experience I have ever had. They have continued to try and rip me off. Not a week after I took my car in for $800 worth of pretty much preventative maintenance my car failed me and I had to call AAA after being stranded. Really? A new battery is needed after 2.5 years? Fine I let that one go.. Now, they are telling me that my car came with a FAULTY starter. They are trying to charge me $1,383 for a new starter to be installed. Luckily I have family up north in the car business that let me know that quote was ridiculous. Either way, its disheartening to know that Honda does not stand by its products or the quality of them. This was my first Honda purchase after owning a Toyota for 10 years and I will NEVER purchase a Honda ever again. Furthermore, I will never let anyone visit this location. Horrible quality, horrible service, horrible values. UPDATE: My Service consultant, Jules, called me last night and let me know that through some approvals within the organization my repair would be covered under warranty. I appreciate the action that was taken to resolve this. Jules has been the consistent protagonist throughout my situation and I appreciate his excellent customer service. Definitely ask for him if youre coming here to receive service. Happy to see that Honda of Chantilly was able to redeem itself!
