Bar tender was completely useless. She was completely unaware of the order in which people were arriving, I had to repeat my order two or three times, no beer mat, etc. Its also the only place Ive been where, when youre sitting at the bar, they serve you your drink then ask you to get out of your seat, walk to the end of the bar to pay, then walk back to your seat to proceed with the drinking. Assuming this was an isolated incident, its still not a great place. Prices are good ($5 for a pint), but thats about all it has going for it. Of the 10 flavours they had on, only three were I.P.A., including one each of so-called black and sour I.P.A.s. Thankfully the third was Jai Alai, a very good tipple. Aside: as Im writing this, a couple at the bar is continually trying to get the attention of the bar tender as she just stands there looking at her phone. Its also very noisy due to all the shopping trolleys in need of a bit of grease on the wheels. Some beers on the sign dont have the brewery listed, only the beer name. And they managed to spell brewery as "brewry", five times no less!

This place is the biggest rip-off in the US of A. The people that work there call it Whole Check Market. Thank God Trader Joes is open a few blocks away with great prices and value. This place WAS awesome in 1997 but the concept has grown flat and tried. The staff speaks volumes about how low this location has sunk. If you have the nerve to charge those prices you should have staff with product knowledge at the very least. I have shopped at other Whole Foods in the region and they are better but still fall short of the price point for the sevices rendered. I have been a fan of this chain in past but it has simply fallen short of my expectations on every level. They have very nice stores in other parts of the country but the Arlington location is the worst by far. P.s. Were is the Jamba Juice? Why in the world, would you open a fried chicken depot ie Wanna be Pollo Rico versus a Jamba Juice?!? I guess it fits the Pub motif you have inside. At the very least serve waffles and fried chicken.

I took cash back like 10 days ago and whole foods in clarenden gave me fake $1 bill, I found out after the embaressment which I got in other store when I tried to use the $1. I never expected to get fake money from whole foods and I didnot even check it. Today I went there and informed the customer service that one of thier cashiers gave me 1 bill fake. Usually I donot carry cash, So I know where my cash comes from (from atm or cash back). I know 1 is not a big money but I just want to inform them what they did and the embarressment I exprienced. one of the managers told me that "since this is only one dollar I will give give you 1bill but for next time if you donot have reciept or employee name I will not do that." so she gave me advice for the future to keep my reciept for cash back. My response was that, I hope whole foods will not give me fake money for the future. So please be carefull because whole foods they may give you fake money, keep your reciept and check your money properly.

I always can find fresh produce at Whole Foods and since I love organic fruit, I frequent here often. I know that the quality is consistent. This whole foods also has a hot food carry station outside where you can order fried chicken and other delicious foods if you are on the go. ANDDD if youre feeling like you want a break from the rigors of grocery shopping, head on upstairs where there is a bar upstairs if your looking for some down time and a nice cold glass of beer and more delicious food. The only downside to this location just like anything in Clarendon is the parking. There is a small parking lot in front of the store front, but its very limited. Look for the parking garage beside pottery barn across the stress to the right when you are facing the front of the store. Whole foods will validate the parking and you get to park there for 2 hours for free.

Terrible service from the manager on site. I saw him not help a woman on crutches that was asking for assistance shopping. He apparently had something important to do since he literally turned and walked away after he definitely heard her. Whole foods should be known for fresh produce, but constantly the produce here is as if it wasnt stored properly in the back, or the sources are not keeping it fresh on the trucks. Either way, for the prices charged here the produce manager should be checking his stock better. Also, the fish section is terrible. I have had bad/rotten fish here twice and it always smells like fish in the section (bad sign -- fresh fish should have nearly no smell). All in all, its as if the general manager simply doesnt care.

The only negative about this WF is that the parking setup jams up traffic for the entire region yet there is a perfectly open and accessible parking garage across the street from the main entrance. It should be signed better and that would resolve this issue other than that it is your typical WF mostly overpriced everyday items but good selection and a great butcher/deli/meat market. I get the dry rubbed bacon and kabobs from here always they also cary hard to find cuts like de-boned legs of various types and rib roasts and sausages like lamb and fancy other combination. Overpriced, as always but there is SO MUCH TO LOOK AND SEE AND TASTE AND BUY!! :)

The food here is very good, fresh and pricy of course. BUT the staff here are really rude. some of them are OK. Mostly they have no expression when talking to costumers. Not willing to help. And one guy at the customer service was very nasty both to me and my friend. He has to teach us when to return or not.(But he never say anything to my friends husband when he goes). So you think woman customers shouldnt be treated equally to men? I really want to say because Im not satified with his service so I do not want to spend my money there! Is this reason good enough to return the stuff I bought?! I wish they have some nice staff like those in Trader Joes.

Ive been here several times and nothing out of the usual. But yesterday was so unacceptable that it makes me question everything Ive ever gotten there. I saw a kid stick his whole hand (as his mom watched) in the self dispensing bin with candy where you can also get rice, beans, and other grains. I notified an employee nearby and he laughed it off. I then went to customer service and they had me show another employee who also did nothing to remove bin. Thats pretty gross and unsanitary . Then I get home and the Organic Valley milk I bought had EXPIRED 5 days ago! I called the store and told them so now I have to trek back for a refund.

Great selection of produce, meats and wines. I love coming here to get their organic produce. Everything here is a little more pricier than other stores but you can also find some great deals. They have great pastries and lunch foods in their deli. I love coming here to get some of their pasta salad at the deli. The wine selection is very nice as you have options from around the world. They have their 3 wishes wine if people wish to find the cheapest brand which is around $3. They have plenty of samples for people wishing to have a little snack when they walk around the store.
