Ive never been a big fan of this Weis to begin with but because it is located by my work and not far from my house I try and give it a chance. Each time I go in I pretty much regret my decision to go there and wish I would have just driven the two minutes up the street to Harris Teeter. Just one of the many examples of their poor customer service: I approached the deli counter today at 12:15 and the lady looks up from what she is doing and says "you will have to wait a minute, Im in the middle of something". Now granted, I never said a word... I wasnt even sure if I was going to get deli meat at that time but after that encounter I turned away from the counter and walked out the store. There is away to address a customer if you are in the middle of something, maybe Weiss management should have some training classes for their Deli counter people. Ive waited at the deli counter before listening to the ladies talk to each other (while getting my food together) about how they are due for their smoke break and they better get relieved soon , blah blah. Completely inappropriate when you have a customer standing in front of you. Now as for the pharmacy, they are the best! Ive never dealt with a pharmacy that went above and beyond the way they do. I give the pharmacy 5 stars and the customer service at the deli counter a 1 star.

Bad produce and seafood - old veggies and stinky frozen seafood are a no-go. I go a few times a month and drop a good amount of money each time. I dont know why the produce is so bad, but they really need to work on it. Same with the seafood. I walk by there and it always smells old-fishy and terrible. The lobster tank makes me sad. I dont know whos buying lobsters there, but like the produce, the seafood needs to be improved. Great deli - very helpful and attentive. Also, the pharmacy is of good quality, inexpensive for what I need and fast. They have most of the stuff I like and need, including vegetarian / meat-substitute type items. The cashiers are generally friendly and the store is clean, but make sure you check expiration dates on things. I have purchased expired shelf items on multiple occasions, especially in the ethnic section, which is one of my favorite sections. High-turnover items like milk tend to be better in terms of expiration dates.

Most of the people here are very nice to me. Some of the managers are cool enough that Id be their friend, while some of them seem a little stressed out. The staff was mostly kids, for the longest time, so they close early due to Maryland child labor laws, based on what Ive heard. The berries can be really fresh or really nasty depending on the week, so its best to check, like every other supermarket on the planet. They respond well to asking that food be added to their stock. I once got them to stock a smaller size of carrot juice and it sold well for a while. Its not the cheapest when it comes to prices, but its the closest so I make do.

Perfect located in the Waverly Woods neighborhood and easy to walk to. The prices are fair and they do have deals every week. They have many of the local teens working there and overall the staff is friendly. You never wait long at the checkout. There is a bakery, seafood, deli, some specialty items and cheese and new the Panera take home section. I get all my prescriptions filled right there at the Pharmacy. We also get Pizza Friday nights its such a deal and really yummy!

Selection is limited and when I went grocery shopping at 1030 on a Saturday night there were employees everywhere stocking shelves but not one in a check out lane. Had a full cart of groceries and had to use the self check out lane. Youd think theyd have at least one person in a lane.

Some of the best prices in the area. Staff ranges from helpful to careless and management can be difficult. The pharmacy staff is friendly and helpful. Great selection of products, good variety of sales and plenty of parking space.

And even a 1 star is too kind. This store is a joke: management is a joke, nothing gets "rotated" (because of poor, useless managers who dont do their job). Youd be lucky to find anything edible within this store.
