its 2:26 a.m. on september 9 th. i went to this store early and when i got there there was a guy locking the entrance at the garage doorway from inside the store. when i asked to come into the store, the guy pointed to a sign taped in the window, it said "tuesday closed from 2:30 until 6:30" my problem was it was only 2:00! i told him the sign said 2:30 and he said he was just doing what he was told. i live about a 5 minute walk from the store and have been there many times early in the morning but this was wrong for me to get there only to have to turn around and go home empty handed. im 50 yrs old and am disabled, so i go to this store because its close by and when i can walk long enough to get there. this is truly not a good sign about this stores customer service. many times when im in the store alot of things have not been restocked and asking someone to check if its in stock is like asking the workers to pull their own teeth. the auto check-out machines are not working as they should more often than not and when i do go in early in the morning before 5:00 a.m., it takes at least 5 minutes for a person to come to the register to ring my items up. you need to get this store to really clean up their act. now i have to get up at 6:15 to walk back to this store and do it in pain due to my disability. yup, thats my harris teeter.

I went in today looking for some lamb in the meat department an their was a pack left and I asked the meat rep. (Corey) on duty some questions and he cut me some new pack of of fresh cut lamb that was amazing. I was so impressed that he gave me exactly want I wanted with absolutely perfect cordesy and professionalism that I was so appreciative that that is the kind of customer service that needs to be acknowledge and you should really customize your customer service off of "Corey" action which is absolutely amazing. Yeah to Corey on His amazing skills. You should raise him uh unlimited and focus on him cause he is a true winner for your company. Yeah to "Corey".

They need to improve on making sure that products are priced accurately. I noticed that I didnt receive the sale price on several items. I plan my menus around whats on sale, and I wouldnt buy certain items if they werent reasonably priced. Its annoying when items are advertised at half price, but they charge you full price on the items (almost a $20 difference). I got the money back from customer service, but its annoying to have to check prices all the time to make sure youre not being ripped off. That makes me wonder how much I was being ripped off at this grocery store before I started paying close attention to the prices.

They have a fresh food but some of the employees are very rude and impatient specially if you are latino and and are wearing yellow safety best. Today 10/12/16 I had a bad experience on the sandwhich station when I was trying to ask for a sandwich. I Was treated in a very rude way. I think that that employee shouldnt only have skills making sandwiches, also some in customer service. Because I am a customer too, right? Im not asking nothing for free.

The first thing is that it is convenient. I use the pharmacy here and the hours are good for the pharmacy. The food selection is low, especially in the produce--mostly because the food sits and gets old. However, I have had some really great customer service here from the women in the bakery and in the deli. There was a man who worked in the bakery who was a dick, but for the most part, the rest of the staff has been polite and helpful.

Convenient, easy to use, open late and friendly staff. I love the selection of wines, produce and breads. They generally carry most products and brands. The store itself isnt as large as you expect (mainly because of space constraints in Arlington). But yes, a decent place to do everyday grovceries, especially convenient for folks living in thhe Shirlington area. The P{harmacy staff is knowledgeable and pretty helpful.

Not a bad store, but their selection is limited and often the fruit selection is meh. Also they have no vegan cheese, which is surprising! I told customer service they should replace some of their lactose free cheese with vegan cheese, but I guess they didnt like my suggestion because theres still a ton of lactose free and no vegan cheese. At least they have a decent beer selection.

Nice little store. My primary grocery store. Its attached to a parking deck so theres no need to go out in the weather. Its clean, the service is good, and it has pretty much everything youd need (including a pharmacy). The only reason I withheld one star was because some other stores are larger and have a better selection. Id have only taken a half a star if I could have...

I would rate Harris Teeter zero or negative stars if that option was avaialable. I purchased a package of Kentucky Legend Oven Roasted Turkey Breast and it tasted horrible. There wasnt anything wrong with the product but it was one of the worse things Ive ever tasted. Harris Teeter refused to give me a refund on this product. I will never shop at Harris Teeter again.

I find the set up of this store very strange and illogical. Seems like a limited selection compared to other ones that I have been to. There is a parking garage behind the store. I usually only frequent when I happen to be in Shirlington to dine and shop and need to pick up few items.

The hours are good. The floor setup is very strange and makes no sense. The fish department is very good but limited compare to the other stores. It is in good location and has a good selection of products. They have very well trained employees and always polite and accommodating.

Been shopping here for years, staff is friendly and helpful. Store is clean. Produce section is on the small side, but the whole store is on a smaller footprint. Parking can be a challenge during peak hours (5-7 pm), everyone is picking up something for dinner!
