My wife has a passion for their rugallah (spelling; its a pastry, one of their "tea cookies"), but I hate going there to get it: They might not have it that day, in which case I get blamed, and if they have it, it is packed or located differently from when I last shopped there. It is also difficult finding a grownup to answer questions. On 31 December 2015 I was lucky to find a young man who at least knew what rugallah was, and he took my order for four-dozen for pickup tomorrow. When I got home, my wife told me they called to say they were closed tomorrow, a federal holiday. Typical that the young man didnt know that, but at least he had the courtesy to call. I am a competent cook and trained medical researcher and just dont buy into WFs high-priced religion. For those who do, this is a competent store by WFs standards, but parking is limited and the store is always crowded. I give them points for making a good rugallah; Ive found no one else in this area that does as well. But I wish that were more professional, not operated mostly by well-intentioned youngsters.

Over the years since this store opened, they have gradually and not so gradually raised their prices to the point that shopping there is prohibitive in terms of cost. They are now charging a dollar or more higher for some products that I buy on a regular basis as compared to my local co-op in Takoma Park, which used to be more expensive. They rarely have a good selection of organic apples anymore, either, and I was told by a produce staffer that this was because they are so expensive to ship from California because of the drought when my local co-op ALWAYS has a good selection of organic apples. It is clear that the blueprint for this store is not really organic. They are also going to price themselves out of the market. Im not shopping there anymore unless I really have to because of convenience and even then, I have to carefully check prices, or I will experience "sticker shock" when I get to the register and find that a partially full bag of staple items can cost close to $100.00.

This is your typical Whole Foods except my issue is with the checkout area. -You are supposed to stand in a central checkout line by one end of the store, but there is no signage saying, "line starts here" like at other stores, so you have customers going directly up to a register and being told they have to go to the central line they never saw. -Once you have stood in the central line and a checkout person is ready for you, there is no monitor or audible announcement like at other Whole Foods telling you what register to go to. You have to keep scanning each register and look for someone trying to flag you down. -There are two aisles that are for 15 items or less, but the sign only hangs over one of them, so when we arrived at the one w/o the sign, the checkout person told us we couldnt check out there because we had too many items. Frustrating.

For the 3rd time in a row, they charged higher prices when same item came from different prices. 4th time, I was prepared and took a picture in my iPhone. The broccoli I bought was 1.79/lb. When the cashier charged me 2.98/lb, I took the time to read the receipt (most of us just leave after receiving the receipt). I showed him the picture in iphone. He said that to him that broccoli appeared like the one from 2.98/lb. Then he took me to customer care who refunded the additional amount. I tried to talk to her about the other 3 over-charging episodes. But I was not able to make her understood. [ I wish I could speak Chinese/Korean]. I will avoid this store. I dont want to check my receipt everytime and waste some time to claim the refund.

Excellent produce selection. Prices are high but sale prices are typically very good. Meat counter is excellent too. Yes high prices but sales are usually good. The quality is high. Very nice staff at the meat counter. Excellent homemade sausage made in-house. Sushi prices have increased so much we never buy it anymore. Sushi staff is very nice though. Sandwich, pizza, deli counter has good options for healthier fast food. Employees here are friendly too. Customer service employees are professional, kind and caring. As are all of the employees here from bakery to meat to seafood and cashiers. Very professional, caring and friendly staff. Parking is a nightmare. Friday-Sunday trying to park is blood pressure stimulating.

Im really disappointed with their food bar. Every weekday morning I come to Whole Foods for my breakfast ( oatmeal). I went to the store today (9/23/14), and while I was getting my oatmeal, I saw two roaches walking along the oatmeal bins. Another customer saw them too. I reported this to two of the workers who claimed that this will be reported. Customers pay too much money in this store to have roaches in their food. I myself spend a lot of money in this store as well. I will not purchase anything from the food bar ever again. I will also inform my family and many friends not to buy from the food bar either. Im disgusted!

I told her that I am from middle east and I hope that one day visit our country ,,,, but she responded that your people slaughtering American. It was my third day in US, I really was shocked and I cant imagine who rude this manner to deal with a guest, but I believe that she present her self not all people a round

The Staff is super nice! The Coffee area seems a bit slow because of the smoothie machines need replacing or the ingredients are just too cold to blend well. The three stars was mainly because the lines are ridiculously long on weekends and some week nights. They should have baggers to help move the process along. It is really hard on weekends to find parking in the parking lot because it seems there are a lot of walk-offs even though, there is a two hour limit. When parking people should have to show validation.

This location is smaller than others Ive been to, but they still have plenty of seating areas to charge electronics, eat, and relax. There is a parking lot without meters which is a cause for celebration in the area even if there is a "2 hour" time limit. Dont come here in search of food samples among the aisles because you will be left searching in vain as I was for many days.. Come for the sales, the great sourced products, the ready made food, and the free wifi (which is now up and running).

I shop at a Whole Foods 2 - 3 times a week. I buy all our meat from their meat dept. But I wont buy any meat or poultry thats been encased in heavy plastic wrapping. There are massive dead zones in the oceans of the world consisting of a slurry of pulverized plastic. Millions of marine animals die from becoming entangled in plastic debris or from ingesting it. The new packaging with excessive plastic represents a lack of concern for protecting the health of our planet.
