I didnt like much, they dont have a big selection....the employees are always very helpful n mostly pleasant but they really need 2 expand the store if they want 2 stay in business for awhile! They should upgrade to the super enter walmart, as I live about 5minutes from rutland, vt but I will travel over to Claremont, NH before I go 2 this 1.....just very small and not much of a selection, Claremont Newhampshires walmart is a super center and they are HUGE and even have their own dunkin donuts, hair salon, body shop/ mechanics, bakery, and a very wide variety of clothing and shoes!! U guys should just really look into an update for the super center, I think u will come 2 find u will get a lot more business and customers....this is rutland and its supposed 2 be big...u would just figure they would have a walmart super center, I was honestly surprised when I move here n saw the walmart!! N Im sure I am not the only 1 that feels this way......I mean look at the mall, they used 2 b alright and now it has just faded away 2 nothing...its pretty much empty, not even a mall...or well a sad excuse for a mall thats 4 sure! Rutland could really use a walmart super center....I hope that the owner really looks at these reviews n puts it into consideration cuz I havent seen very great reviews on this walmart at all!! They are in desperate need of an upgrade....listen 2 your customers cuz isnt that what really matters?? Thats where your going to get your money, you could make so much more money and customers just by an upgrade! I think the owners should definitely look into it!

I moved to Rutland this past summer. I am an avid Wal-Mart shopper. Being the 2nd largest city in VT....I had high expectations. This Wal-Mart disappoints me. Although the customer service is good, the store does nothing for me. It is not a Super Store and does not carry many items I have bought from many other Wal-Marts. Their clothing selection for boys is slim picking while there toy section expands maybe 8 aisles. I drive almost an hour and a half just to go to a good Wal-Mart along with many other stores Rutland does not provide.

Long checkout lines and lots of closed registers. I take Mom there to grocery shop. Produce was disappointing - cukes were all wrinkled and old, didnt have any decent celery. Lots of shelf stocking being done and only one stock person out of at least 10 moved their cart out of our way so we could get to the shelf we wanted. Terribly rude this visit, and that is NOT usually the case - though I will say the long register lines are the norm, and I didnt appreciate a bag of sugar being put in with my two loaves of bread.

This is just like any other Walmart. This Walmart doesnt sell dairy products and has limited groceries due to their close proximity to a grocery store. They do have a large electronics department, a generous selection of toys and bicycles, camping and fishing supplies, hunting and fishing license some automotive accessories, car and motorcycle batteries, home supplies, a few tools, a small bit of cheap home furniture, home accessories, seasonal items and some sewing / craft supplies.

They dont do prepaid. Really like&miss that service. Became grouchy over I.d.s. dont like how booze got added. Still a lot of foreign products. I always seem to leave without all the peices to complete a project. Some stuff is good, the rest of the place is frustrating.

Store is messy and there are almost always pallets of unopened product in the aisles. The front entrance is a mess outside and the employees are unfriendly to say the least. Really not a great Walmart when compared with so manybothers.

Staff are not professional and you feel uncomfortable when I went in I was treated like I was a thief and followed by an employee for the whole time I was in there. It was a bad experience for me I will never go back there.
