Really like Costco Unfortunately the nearest Costco is in Holbrook and I live in Mastic, so I used to do grocery/foods in the local Pathmark & Best-Yet, until I tried Costco once, and really liked them. True, variety is not great, there are no small units, and when you dont know something there is nobody to ask. And sometimes even quality is not great - but this is rare, usually quality is good, and usually prices are great (small, I mean). Somehow, it feels, they almost always offer the best value/price rates. And most important - they seem to respect customers, to understand their desires and to try hard to fulfill them. Just two examples: 1) their emphasis on healthyorganic (yet cheap) food. 2) Bought there several months ago a $20 fan. Equipped with past Walmart experience kept the package & receipt for a failure situation... Well, surprise... Its now mid summer and the $20 fan works better than the $60 Walmart fans... I can go on and on but I think you got the point... And I also like the small tasting stations they have everywhere... No wonder everyone looks happy there... And no wonder I do now 70% of my shopping there, leaving Pathmark & Best Yet only for emergencies...

Its Costco - no one is expecting a red carpet but this location can be inconsistent with some of their product availability and the employees love giving bad news. Apparently the majority of them are in an unfavorable mood most of the time and look forward to punishing the customer base for it. Thats just been my experience over the last six years. Keep in mind if you venture to Holbrook Liquors next door, at the exact moment that you need to look at some wine on a shelf - that will be the exact moment that seven different employees have to stock 50 cases of Arbor Mist. Wherever you are in that place, someone needs to be. My advice for either of these vendor locations is to go when its a ghost town and that is if you must brave the rude employees.

I bought tires there three weeks ago - they had to be ordered. Each time I came back all of the staff were very professional and helpful. I knew about Costcos road hazard warranty, but I didnt know I would need it so soon. Earlier this week I had a huge nail in one of my tires. I called Costco in Holbrook and they said they would repair it or get me a brand new tire. I brought it in and they worked on it right away. No waiting. They installed my spare tire, ordered my new tire, and even wrapped my old tire in a plastic bag so it wouldnt damage my car before they put it in the trunk. Amazing customer service and kudos to the entire friendly and professional staff! I now have a brand new tire and the car runs on all fours again.

Ive always read that Costco is one of the best wholesale clubs. With reasonable prices, a huge variety, and happy, well taken care of employees, its a great place for buying in bulk. I just got my membership, the executive one, thank you very much, which allows me access and 2% back. Aside from the mildly unpleasant woman who signed me up, everything was great. Clean, organized, well stocked, and a spectacularly smelling bakery section. Add to that, the in store liquor store, for all your boozing needs, it was a pne stop bonanza. Id have given it 5 stars, but Michelle seemed really perturbed to be doing my membership. Maybe she needed a nap.

My husband has a membership and typically we go together, however he was working late and i needed to go buy formula so i went without him. I got to the register and they wouldnt let me buy the baby formula, i explained it was my husband card and we shop here all the time, they told me that since its not my card i couldnt make a purchase and to "step aside". I couldnt believe how rude this girl was, i really needed to buy the formula and i left in tears. We will be canceling our membership.

The road to the costco is a bit hard to find since theres no sign to tell you where to turn (only later on when youre in the shopping center). Great savings on glasses with friendly service there. The liquor store is attached to the Costco just outside and is a lot cheaper than regular liquor stores. Awesome one stop shopping for what you need (provided that you need it in bulk).

I cant imagine having six years of miserable service from a place like Costco! Theyve always been helpful, kind, and courteous when Ive dealt with them. Actually, just went there again on this week and the guy packing my cart at the register was quite comical and polite! And I hear they treat their employees very well also...Happy Holidays!

I have been a member for many years. I typically shop at the least crowded times-weeknights and late in the evening. At peak hours they offer samples of food items. I typically buy their roast chicken which in my opinion is the best. I buy a lot of clothing and use their optical services. Their return policy is simple.

The staff is very friendly. Returns are never a problem. Checkout is always busy but moved very fast. The bakery is always fresh with dates for freshness always posted. Parking is never an issue nor is getting in/out of the parking lot. And, items needed for school are better than anywhere else. Michael.....

The most obnoxious and entitled group of over paid employees I have ever encountered. Year after year the service never matches the local shop owner. Its such a shame that Costco cant train long time employees to care about the customer . Its like Im a burden to them when Im online with $400 in products.

Helpful staff. Decent layout with plenty of room like most Costco warehouses. Lines can be long but they move fairly quick. There are plenty of space cadet members that are oblivious to their cart driving so I dont like to go there during peak shopping times.

I love shopping at Costco. The lines always go fast no matter how long they seem. The deals there are amazing compared to shopping at your local grocery store. And then theres clothes, jackets and household items. You really cant beat the prices there.

They offer both items for extremely great prices my shop there every month for all my paper goods laundry shampoos and conditions and vitamins at all good prices with great coupons no clipping needed which is a big plus in my book

The verizon store here promised me a $75 rebate that never happened. I dont suggest buying from them. When I followed up they dithered, but didnt make it right even after months of interaction. BUT I love Costco!

Have a membership that both i and my husband use. If im working he is unable to use my card without me being with him. despite us both being on it. We should not have to pay for 2 memberships for one house hold.

Can live any place in the world as long as there is a Costco. Cabo San Lucas has a better store that has Costco wines and liquors. In NY the government and the liquor lobby deprive the residents this benefit.

When you go to this place at least once a week, for milk, cant not give it 5 stars. Samples are a plethora usually. Lines are fast, prices are great. Dont forget to grab your liquor on your way out at HB.
