So this was my first year purchasing a real tree from Walmart… I was super excited that they had some available, however it was a disaster just to purchase one… Seen one employee in the back by the trees and he told me to purchase the tree up front 1st and he would help me bring the tree to the car after… I proceeded to the front to purchase the tree and after waiting 25 minutes in a long line the cashier told me I needed some sort of ticket… I refused to go back and forth being that I had already waited in a long line and I had my 2 year old daughter with me so they called the manager… She made a big fuss about not having the ticket and she charged me $22. Once I purchased the tree and proceeded to the back so it can get mounted onto my car I realized that they were all netted up so I couldn’t really tell how it actually looked inside. The guy in the back assured me that they didn’t have any customers complaining yet… I arrived home and put up the tree and long behold tons of pines were falling everywhere and you could see tons of plain branches… I will NEVER go back to this Walmart or any Walmart in that matter for a real Christmas tree and I don’t recommend any of you to go either…

Customer service here just sucks. Whatever you do, dont walk in with a coupon that has a smudge on the barcode. Instead of going the extra minute to type in the barcode number, the head cashier, a short black haired Hitler wannabe, who thinks she is Alice the Goon, will instruct the cashier to reject it. This has happened to myself and others on multiple occasions. So much for high end customer service in todays tough ecomomy. But then again, it is Walmart - you cant expect your mid management to have any people skills!

Very busy walmart since there isnt another close by or there isnt one youd want to go to close by. If you go during ahigh traffic day/time be prepared to wait a little but in line. Store does have self checkout. This walmart is always clean. Some staff is more helpful than others but overall I have always had good service. Store shelves are stocked very well. Ive used the purchase online pick-up in store option, each time the entire transaction went smoothly. I would highly recommend the Shelton Walmart.

I have never been more upset. Rude customer service, arguing with me about prices. Also I ordered a volleyball net. Bring it home open it up and it has been used, the stakes were all dirty, poles were broken, net was teared, instructions were all ripped up. I was very upset and disappointed. Imagine if I gave that as a gift to someone and they opened that. Never going back to this store.

I called this being the "3rd store" in my area to get a price and to find out if it was in stock on something in sporting goods, waited 20 min for someone to answer and then when I got transferred I waited 15 min to be hung up on ! I guess they dont need my business !!!!!!!! Truly Descusted !!!!! P.S. Ialso called Stratford and Milford with about the same results !!!!!!!!!

This Wal-Mart does not have a big selection but it is ok for how small it is. Their money transfer and check cashing services are down more than they are up. There is also not enough cashiers working, most of the time you can expect to wait in line for ten out fifteen minutes before you get checked out but during the holidays that time can triple or more.

Its a Walmart, so nothing spectacular in terms of the store or its products. But I would say the people here really shine. The guy who works in Sporting Goods always has a great story to tell you ... and the fine folks who work in customer service are very helpful. All criticisms about Walmart aside, the people who work here are generally awesome.

I have to be honest, I have no issue with this store.. The guy in the electronics department is awesome. not sure about the managers tho.. The managers that i have worked with in retail were mostly horrible human beings, that are so inadequate in life that they need to take it out on someone.. there were one or two good ones tho.

This is Walmart...so you cant expect too much. However, if you go early morning, the staff is usually more helpful and willing to treat you like more than just a customer. The store is always clean. They do have a decent selection of food/grocery items. I have been to many other locations, and this one does seem to be the nicest.

Most of the time I visit this location they have what i need, especially ammo and targets etc.. I wish they had more target options but I do with What they have. I wish the workers would go the extra mile to see if there is any extra items in the back warehouse instead of giving the same excuse of everything is out on the aisle.

TERRIBLE ALL THE WAY AROUND , CUSTOMER SERVICE SUCKS , MANAGEMENT SUCKS ,SECURITY FOLLOWING YOU AROUND MEANING THE CUSTOMERS TELLING ASSOCIATES TOO WATCH THEM AND THAT THE CUSTOMER IS MAYBE STEALING , IVE BEEN THRU IT WITH THAT STORE AND MAYBE I GO THERE 1 OR 2 TIMES A YR AND SPEND 20 DOLLARS, SOON IT WONT BE EVEN THAT

The business that Walmart conducts, the lack of quality in many products, the low wages they pay, and being personally discriminated against multiple times in more than one Walmart, this one being one of them is why I dont shop at Walmart. I simply pick up medications for my mother.

Its ok not so big, the garden area has almost anything, people are nice, I didnt understand how the arrange this store groceries are hiding in the back .... of you are in a hotel close by theres no sidewalk to get here ...: almost no pedestrians are allowed .....

the associates in this store have zero sense of urgency. nobody acknowledges you, they just stare at you when they walk past you. its Wal-Mart so youll always find what you need but if youre looking for a good customer experience, you wont find it here.

Just wanted to say Robert in the electronics department gave me the best customer service ever. I had an issue with a phone I bought and he was awesome. Every company should have an employee like him. Thank you, Robert!!

The gum aisle has gum, the shoe aisle has shoes, the headphone aisle has headphones and the kitchen spoon aisle yup you guessed it........ has kitchen spoons. Unlike any Wal-Mart youll find within a 2 mile radius.

The customer service at this walmart needs some improvement, the people are very rude and unprofessional. I avoid coming here at all cost, and when I do happen to come, I keep having the same terrible experience.

I love this Wal-Mart very organized and very pleasant staff. The aquarium isle could use some work with having a staff member near by very hard to find staff in that area. Over in all a nice place to shop

Cashier lines are decent most of the time. Ive seen better stock shelf but still not bad. People have been friendly. My only issue is employees and patrons smoke cigarettes right outside the door..
