I went to this Walmart on April 26 2015 my first encounter was at the customer service desk as I was trying to return an item without a receipt. unfortunately for me as the beastly woman pointed to the sign and grumbled there are no returns on electronics after 15 days. To be completely honest its not that she refused my return I understand policies and I understand the employees responsible for enforcing them for the company that pays them. there was nothing friendly about her at all. there was nothing Warm or inviting or even human. it was actually the exact opposite of that. Im treated a hundred percent better at the Department of Motor Vehicles. I enjoy going there way more. after dealing with that monster we encountered another one as we could not find the damned conditioner. she answered 99% of our question without even looking at us Ashley rummage through a box of merchandise. she fine look at us as she ended her sentence and sent us away. we eventually found the conditioner got what we needed and left. my advice to you is to not go there you should probably go somewhere else I could have done all that at the Family Dollar.

Terrible experience. I showed up at 9:30 to return a few items and the Service Desk was closed. A very helpful cashier asked the stock people to get the manager to see if I would be able to return my items. The manager sent the stock people back to tell me that I could not return my items, but I could return at 7 a.m. when they opened. Would the Service Desk be open at 7 or a half hour after they opened?? I am really upset about this as I am in the service industry. My place of employment we are required to offer ALL of our services until the time of closing. Clearly, Carmen, the manager does not think my time is valuable.

What a nice store. High(er) class people certainly than the Bristol store where virtually all women are 350+ lbs, covered with tattoos and stinking of stale cigarettes, have 3 teeth, and are driving electric carts. (GIMMIE FREE HEALTH CARE!) Oh yeah, they are LOUD and must think that everyone in the store wants to hear their brainless moronic garbage mouths. Their babies cry non-stop, scream and yell constantly. Ive even heard the little tykes swear at the parent. Wonder where they heard those words. Store employees give them wide berth since theyre afraid of getting sued just by looking at them.

My dog has diabetes. It would be hard to afford the insulin and syringes if it werent for Walmarts great prices. As far as the staff goes, they have always been very kind and helpful to me. The policy is 24 hours notice for refills, but they have helped me out in a pinch before without a hint of attitude. It isnt a fancy posh pharmacy, but its obvious they are working hard and by being there it saves me a lot of money every month.

Double charged for pants and a shirt. Asked cashier 002130 multiple ties if I was charged twice and she kept telling me no. Then, she scanned the shirt onto the ticket again and then took it off (unknown to me, that was the 3rd time the item was added on) and said, "See, it wasnt on there." I cant deal with these idiots anymore. I will order from Amazon Prime Pantry.

Fairly small for a Walmart. Decent for everything other than food. EXTREMELY disappointed in my experience at the photo center. Kiosks were down, which I understand - things happen. Not a big deal! But, the employee acted bothered by simply my presence. Stated she was having a "bad day." Bad days happen, but dont take it out on your customers... Probably wont be back

It sounded like someone kept trying to get the intercom.to work and it wasnt but it was REALLY loud and sounded like farts. The girl at the register kept mumbling something to herself and then said its not the customers fault(not sure what but just its not the customers.fault) and on top of it all stock was low and had very little choices on basic products.

I would have loved rate this store as only average. Very hard to find any help and signage is bad. Prices goof. They have a really good garden area in spring and summer - good plant selection and healthy plants at reasonable prices.

If youre used to the larger Wal-Marts in the midwest and south, then visiting this Wal-mart will be like a trip back to the 80s before super centers were common. Decent for a discount retailer in Avon, CT though. Glad its there.

I have called this Walmart twice now, first time I was on hold so long I hung up and now I am approaching 25 minutes on hold If I knew this, I would have driven over there in the 25 min wait instead of calling. Horrible service!

We have two Wallmart shops in our proximity and this one we like the least of the two. The store is disorganised, dirty and dated. Staff can be friendly but with poor product knowledge. We shop there only when we have to.

The Avon Walmart is always clean, well stocked and never over crowded like the super center or the dirty Walmart in Manchester are. Staff is very helpful and polite. We prefer coming here because of the quiet atmosphere.

This Walmart never seems to be over crowded and I usually only go in to pick an item or two so its nice to be able to get in and get out quickly. The lines never seem to be too long and the store is relatively clean.

A prison has better customer service than that of this Walmart. The assistant manager completely ignored a woman who was picking up an item and just walked off without saying a word. Terrible customer service

Im pretty sure theres some find of fungus growing under the floor tiles of this store, because whenever Im there and walking around for more than 5-10 minutes, my balls start itching FIERCELY. Not recommended.

I think the walmart store in Avon is TERRIBLE. They dont even sell cream cheese! Even the milk there just expires in less than a month! But the online shopping is great and useful
