Doesnt even deserve one star. I visited the store in South Setauket, NY 2/10 around 4pm. I saw a nightstand thank I really liked but couldn’t reach and wanted to make sure the price was right. I walked around for 15 minutes looking for an employee. I saw two women and asked for their help, they cut me off and went “we don’t do that let me call someone”. So when I saw an employee that looked like he could help me I asked him if the $39.99 under it was right cause that’s pretty cheap, so he looked and said “yea I guess its on clearance” which makes sense because the one next to it also had $39.99 under it and it was broken. I also got the kid’s name, Chris, because I wanted to tell a manager how nice he was to help me after I just dealt with those rude women that worked there. So I get him to put it in my cart for me then i see a duvet cover for $12.99 on clearance so i grab it. I walk around and get some other things. When I go to check out, the Nightstand rings up $79.99. I said that was wrong and told them Chris told me it was $39.99 when I asked him to check, so they went “well its not”. And the Duvet cover rang up $59.99 and Nicolas, the front end manager said “I guess someone peeled the sticker off another one and put it on that one”. So I showed Nicolas, where I got the nightstand(the broken one was still there) and Nicolas said that’s for a different item and he can give me 10% off but can’t give it to me at $39.99 because they would go out of business if they did that and Nicolas kept telling me all the great things Target does and how they’re going to terminate Chris if its true and how he’s just a Kid that wanted to get out at 5pm. Also he was telling me how they need to make money and if they gave it to me at that price they would end up like Caldor, ect. All this happened at the register, in front of other customers, where a line was forming because the cashier couldn’t ring anyone else up. While we were waiting for the store manager, Tim, Nicolas kept telling me he can’t deal with this (insert cuss word) and he took an $8,000 pay cut to not deal with this (insert cuss word). When Tim showed up he just told me the same things that Nicolas told me and made me feel like I was in the wrong for saying something. Throughout this experience I felt like they thought I was lying about where I got the nightstand and the same with the Duvet. I feel like if I was someone in my 30s or 40s things would have been completely different. I normally spend at least $5000 a year at Target because I’ve read about how great they treat their employees and I know about all the good they do for schools and communities, but if I’m going to be treated like this I think I’ll start shopping at WalMart. Ive contacted corporate Target the day after and 3 months later I still havent even heard anything back, I guess they really dont care about their customers

I normally love this store because of how clean it is and the deals on some of the items. However, some of the staff there can be really rude, racist, and discriminating. I went to this Target a while back and bought about $600 worth of things and when the cashier was ringing my moms things up, she was snickering, being rude and really mean, and talking trash about me and my mom to another cashier behind her, who was also being very racist. And the thing is that they were doing all this in front me and my mom and the rest of the Target customers, most of which looked shocked. My mom couldnt even believe how rude and horrible they were being. The store manager, who was understanding, did apologize in person after the two employees shifts ended. So to Target management, please do train your employees properly and dont hire bad ones.

Very disappointed. Called the store on Black Friday to see if they still had any nintendo 3ds. They said they had a few left. I asked if they could hold it for me for 10 minutes till I could get there. They said they couldnt. When I got there I got on line and got up to the register a woman on the floor asked the guy on the register if they still had. He said this is the last one and held it for her. I was on line and he wouldnt give it to me. I said I just called you and you wouldnt hold for me and I get that but I was next on line and you held it for her. I should have spoke to a manager but I was so upset.

I am writing this review, not so much about the store itself but the workers and staff. I have to say after my experience I have a lot of respect for the employees and especially their LP staff. The customers that come in are usually causing issues and act like feral animals. I was being victimized by a group of nasty bullies and the Target employees worked professionally and bravely to protect its customers that didnt want any problems. I am not sure how many of the workers that stepped in to help where really Loss Prevention/Security or someone with a different title, but I thank them all nonetheless.

The store is always clean and the staff is very friendly but their price match policy is the worst. They dont let you price match at registers like their ad states so they make you wait on a the long customer service line. The customer service people are not as friendly as the regular cashiers and judge you when you show them something you want to match. They told me that they only match with their scanning device on their own iPad. Its total crap and 90% of the time they say "no" and make an excuse even if it shows on their iPad. Its not worth my time and I stopped going here ever since.

This is my local Target that I always go to when I need to pick up something quick, Target basically always has what I am looking for! I love the clearance section in Target, they normally have pretty good things hiding away if you take the time to search for it. This Target is very basic, unfortunately whenever I go here it seems to be pretty messy no matter what time of day that I go. The employees are pretty nice though and have a solid knowledge of where the products are in the store. Definitely go here if you are trying to find pretty much anything!

Easy, simple and pleasant shopping experience. Having been shopping at Target on Central Islip for years and moving to Ronkonkoma and shopping at South Setauket, what a releif! Workers who are friendly, they speak english, in this day and age it says a lot. Its 100% easier to resolve an issue if it arises when someone speaks the same language as you..ENGLISH! I will continue to shop at this target. Please keep up the good work.

Went to purchase 43" tv $349 free $50 gift card. Got tv home and it was cracked. I thought ok freek thing. So i went to exchange the tv only to receive another broken tv. So i returned it for a refund and they said i had to take a gift card. So now i have $360 worth of gift cards. Ok let me buy the tv stand on sale $199. Three stores and no tv stand. $360 spent and nothing to show for it. Boo target pond path.
