Sometime in the beginning of July, I went into the store and purchased four items, and we discussed ordering eight more. The owner of the store, who was waiting on me, said that she would order the other eight items and call when they came in. $248 was charged to my credit card. About three weeks later, I received a phone call from another employee in the store who said the items were in and would I like them mailed to me or would I like to pick them up. I asked her to put them in the mail. She said they would be going in the mail the following day, and since I live five minutes from the store I assumed I would receive them in the next day or two. When the items hadnt arrived a week later, I tried to call the store during their business hours. I called three times with no response and left a message the fourth time which was not returned. I went into the store to find out where the items were. They had just been put in the mail the previous day. I then asked if the $248 I had paid had included the eight items or only what I purchased in the store. The owner said she didnt know. I asked her to look up the receipts and tell me. She behaved as if she were confused and just kept saying she didnt know. I didnt get an answer. I left the store and went home and pulled out my receipt. I had only paid for the original four items, not anything else. When the package finally arrived a day later with the promised eight items only four of them were there. I called the store again-three times during business hours and the phone was not answered. I called a fourth time and the owner came to the phone. I explained that I had not paid for any of the eight items, but that only four of them were in the package. The owner was totally confused on the phone and didnt know what the four missing items were (apparently she keeps no record in the store). After a very long conversation we finally ascertained that two of the items had been ordered and had not come in and two of them she had never ordered at all because she hadnt written it down. She said that the two items that had been ordered would come in the next day and she would put them in the mail and that she would order the last two items. I then paid her in good faith on the phone with a credit card number for the four items I had received and the two she said were coming in the next day (six items). This phone conversation took place on August 6th. Today is August 14th and the items that were being mailed out on August 7th are still not here. Given the fact that I have paid for them, I decided I needed to find out where they were. I tried to call the store a half hour after it opened-no response. I left a message-no response. I went into the store and asked the owner where the two items were that I had paid for. She said they had just come in that day. I asked why she couldnt have called to let me know what was going on given the fact that I had paid her for them. I expressed frustration with the amount of time buying twelve items from her business had taken. To put the icing on the cake-our conversation at this point had taken less than a minute- a very rude customer in the store who had been browsing the racks when I walked in came up to the counter as I was trying to find out what was going on and informed me that "she was waiting to be helped and I had gone on long enough". Rather than asking the woman to wait her turn because there was, indeed, something very wrong with what had happened to date-the store owner stood there and allowed the other customer to berate me. I took the two items that had come in with me-asked for a receipt for the payment on the phone for the six items I had paid for-asked her to confirm that the last two had been ordered-and asked what would happen when they came in reminding her that I had not yet paid for them. I let her know I would be writing this review. As I left the store I heard the other customer apologizing for my rudeness, and the store owner sighing and saying, "Its ok, Im used to it."

This place is fantastic. I have a lot of trouble finding a comfortable bra, and today I went out in search of a strapless bra (talk about hard to find comfort...). Grace, who works at Bertha Church, was phenomenal. She was very knowledgeable and very patient. She really listened to me when I talked about all of the characteristics that I was looking for in a bra, and she didnt seem bothered at all to size me and to bring me all sorts of things to try on. I found what I was looking for! Actually, my expectations were far exceeded. I would recommend this place to anyone who feels like they really need help finding the right fit, style, etc. Bravo!

This is really a review for my experience a tad more then three years ago... Wonderful. I am a full figured gal and needed bras for nursing at the time. She had a bunch of options, some the typical (and priced VERY fairly) and nicely she had a few pretty bras for nursing as well! Added plus to the A plus attention I got, choices offered... she even had my regular bras in sexy! Seriously Im a 38 G... and even some on sale! Felt like I hit the lotto! I would go again on a hearth beat!!

If you require any level of customer service from the owner, forget about it. I had excellent interaction with the young woman who works there, but subsequent pick up of ordered items was horrendous. Owner is rude if you have any more than passing contact with her. My first purchase was about $400 worth of her product. I guess she has enough customers that she does not need retention. I will not shop there again.

Spoke with salesperson asking if she could order the same bed jacket She had for sale with the size I needed as she didnt have that size. She took my name & phone #. I returned a week later to find she had Not bothered to call the supplier or me. What addisapointment and frustration as this was to be a Christmas present. Poor sales rep!!!

I truly love the store and the staff there are very helpful and they certainly know what youre looking for and the right sizes to get also they fit you perfect its a wonderful store and I will go back many many more times finally having the right fit in a bra is well worth the price I paid

I now live in Florida and still order my lingerie from Bertha Church. The staff was great when I lived in Burlington and they are still great even though Im 1000 miles away. They always get it right.
