Biased Perspective

I ordered some shoes online. I was sent an e-mail from Doug indicating they do not carry that shoe anymore and he asked if I would like another shoe. I replied no and told him that they should not indicate that they have items in stock if they really dont. He responded that he was sorry. Cool. Well, two weeks later, I look at my credit card statement and they have not credited my credit card for the amount they charged me for an item they did not even have (good thing I look at my statements). So I contacted him and it has been a week with no reply. Take what you want from my experience but I thought I would share.

Masherz is definitely worth going to. The sales staff listens to what you need in a bike and helps you find what is right for you. The service doesnt end there. I have had problems with my feet going numb on longer rides. The staff there was willing to provide me with test products to see if there was improvement. This is important to me because I can try out a product before paying for it. Bikes and accessories can get expensive. It is so much better when you can try the product first. They continue to help me with any issues I have. Make a visit to Masherz. Ask for Brian.

I actually found their online store first and called to see if I could get their online price if I came into the store (Ive been surprised how many online retailers dont honor their online pricing in their store). Anyway, I went in to pick up a new rear deralleur and was pleasantly surprised by the friendly and very knowledgable staff, very tidy showroom and very reasonable prices. Ill certainly be frequently these guys more in the future. It was well worth the drive to the somewhat off-the-beaten-path location.

Dropped by the Woods Cross store yesterday to see if mine and my sons bikes could be fixed. The technician dug into the bikes like a Surgeon! He let us participate...we learned alot about caring for our bikes! The price was incredibly reasonable, staff were wonderful, the experience could not have been better. Thanks guys....customer service is "everything"...and you nailed it!

Really like this place. Most of their prices arent "sale" prices, but theyre still cheaper than everyone elses sales prices. They just dont seem to have as big a markup in the first place. Also, they arent bike shop snobs so if your new to the sport you dont get any attitude... just really layed back.

Avoid purchases online with this company. They may say they have something in stock only to find out they dont. I asked for a refund and never received one. Filed a claim with PayPal to get my money back. Its sad that companies like this one take advantage of people like that.

This is a great all around bike shop. I had my bike tuned up here and will most likely bring my wifes bike down there as well. They sell cycling apparel, necessities and bikes at great prices.
