The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. I was greeted right away by Daniel (owner) and was helped from there by Keenan, a service tech. Keenan was helpful, knowledgeable and was able to answer all of my questions, and them some. I was very impressed with the bike fitting and tuning process where Keenan tuned the bike suspension and seat to my height and weight. Then to top it off, the owner gave me an extremely great price that was well below sticker. This is the second bike Ive purchased from Great Divide. The last bike was 7 years ago, and I was impressed then. Theyve only gotten better with Daniel as the new owner. I stopped at every bike dealer in helena, and Great Divide was hands down the best. At most of the other shops I couldnt get the staff to Even acknowledge me. Disturbing since I was getting ready to drop more that 2 dimes on a bike and accessories (not that they should know that, but you should treat every customer as such). Great divide has the best bikes (specialized and Santa Cruz) and at competitive prices. This place is a model and testament to what fantastic customer service is all about.

I have found the owner and staff at Great Divide Cyclery to be especially helpful, friendly and knowledgeable. Im a novice rider and I recently purchased a new mountain bike at GDC and I was never pressured to buy more than I wanted or needed. I was able to get the right bike which was professionally fitted just for me, which is something you will never get from an online purchase. Everyone at GDC takes time to patiently answer my questions and has helped me get the most out of riding. Im having an absolute blast on my new bike!

Cant say enough good things about this shop. Dan and his staff are helpful, knowledgeable, friendly, take lots of time to answer all of my questions, and offer great products and service. Ive always felt more than taken care of by this professional establishment and wouldnt consider going anywhere else for anything bike related. Furthermore, GDC supports trail development, community events, sponsors and organizes rides, and offers so much to the biking community of Helena! Cant recommend this place enough.

I just moved to this area from Northwest Arkansas and while I owned a road bike of sorts, I knew I would need something for the winter snows. A colleague told me about this store and I live very close by so I came in one day. I walked out with a great mountain bike that fit me perfectly. I want to thank Dan and Cody for their assistance, but all of the staff here are very friendly and helpful. I highly recommend checking them out if you are in the market for a bike.

Ive always ridden TREK cycles. I decided Id like to give a Cevelo bike a try. Dan took the time to answer all my questions. He asked me about what type of riding I did and made thoughtful, intelligent, rational suggestions. He didnt try to up-sell me. Dan was more concerned about making sure I was satisfied rather than making a sale. This is the beginning of many happy years and bikes.

40$ to change one spoke! This price is absurd! A spoke costs less than one dollar and it takes less than 10minutes to replace when you have the tools! It follows that they charge 240$ an hour of work! (40*6) we bought the tools for 40$ and learned quicky how to replace it!

Very knowledgeable owner with helpful staff. They are easy going with great advice. I bought a bike from them last year, and they were quick to offer multiple demo options so I could determine which setup was right for me. Ended up with a great bike. I return often.
